Man, I really wish I never purchased The Witness.
I went into it 100% blind and promised myself to never check for hints or such.
After a while I got stuck on a puzzle
and couldn't for the life of me figure it out.
I tried everything multiple times, and I really mean everything (solved almost all other sections).
I was pretty certain it had something to do with

tone deaf (not diagnosed or anything scientific, just my experience in life so far)
I still managed to do this section on my own, but later on,
there is another puzzle like this,
I feel with you for the spoiler part. I was spoiled one puzzle mechanic (the most late game mechanic) and I have been sad due to the fact that I did not get that "ahah I got it" moment.
I don't have an educated opinion but before I go to sleep I'll offer the input that you can find better entertainment than the dlc for a similar pricepoint.
This is a terrible statement as it is always true.

Get Enemy Within, rest are skip-able.
Enemy within is the one to get.
Slingshot is a set of missions, they are alright and give access to a pretty strong soldier otherwise they don't add new stuff.
The last one is just additional soldier customization.
I don't think there's more.

Enemy within adds a lot of stuff to the base-capmaign like two new classes(mech and genetic enhancer stuff I think) and a lot of other new stuff so be sure to pick that one up, it's all aroudn a better experience with it.
All but enemy within makes small changes like adding two missions and such so only pick those up if you get them in the package you buy enemy within with

@kagamin, if you don't own the base game, get the complete pack, EW's pricing is Bethesda DLC's level of horrible.

Tbh I would probably vote Rogue Legacy for GOTY. Can't think of anything better that year except maybe Sonic Racing Transformed.

It drove me nuts and couldn't figure out what the hell I did wrong.
Sorry to hear that, I stayed out of the witness threads (except for the performance one) and was really careful to not spoil myself, didnt even watch trailers
Now I wish I at least was spoiled on that section.

I'm surprised Rogue Legacy was the top voted game of 2013. I tried playing on the PS4 and it felt like instant death each time I entered the castle.

Dark Echo is a nice little game, it's both a puzzle game and a stealth game (kind of?) and has a really nice sound design.. It's a nice game to play in short bursts.. basically you walk around and your footsteps create sound waves that bounce around walls so you know where to go, but then they add enemies and that is where the puzzle/stealth elements come in..
You should buy it if you can afford it
it's on sale

Haven't played Rocket League, because I don't know how popular it is in Asia, I don't want to end up with a multiplayer game with bad servers like Chivalry.
If you don't count starting the game over, I've only scummed once. I....I tried to slash a muton. He didn't care for it.
I think specialists are underrated. I'm hacking everything. Twice now my hacked turrets have gotten "Most Under Fire".

All this Xcom talk got me to load up my save for the original again... two misses in a row with 96% chance to hit followed by a 90% chance to hit. What's scary is that I can't wait to get to bed and load it up again to continue (playing on android).
