What had happened was I forgot the TRIVIA rule the first time around. I tried to add it again the second time, but it seemed ModBot wasn't a fan of it as the same indicator I noticed late in yesterday that said it probably wouldn't work showed up. I assume because it was the same key, but it was too irritating to bother with. Sorry for that. <3

Birdie is one of my least favourites because Capcom bleaches him more and more every day. Also, my favourite fighters tend to all be against Shadaloo, and Birdie has that affiliation!

It's actually a pretty good game, with a good story and an awesome soundtrack.

Blow wanted to provide the very same two achievements you see in the Steam version and nothing more, but Sony mandates a minimum (five, judging from Firewatch).

Without having read a single review, my wild guesses are:

  • People growing tired of Telltale not adding anything new to the formular
  • Telltale relying too much on splatter for shockvalue
  • Still no new engine

i don't think the formula needs to change so much, they just need good writing and kind of better controls. if the engine didn't constantly erase ppl's saves i'd say there's not all that much to complain about it either (tho it is annoying for sure)

like tales from the boredlands totally made me a telltale believer, you can see in that game that the telltale formula + good writing and direction just works really well

it's why i liked it a lot more than life is strange, lis handled much better and looked great and was super polished in those aspects but the writing fell apart way too often and the "season" doesn't really pay off in the end as much as it should at least

Killed that Pillars lord as well. What a difference a single level up does in cRPGs, I can't understand why they can't go the more discreet, jRPG route though.

That developer's response got it put on my wishlist, just for the sake of wanting to support him at some point. The game doesn't really do it for me on many fronts, but much respect to them for putting so much effort into something they clearly wanted to do well/right. The game has a 94% positive review rating on the Steam page. That's pretty impressive in the EA world, I think.
