i've been actually kind of tired of this community for some time myself

not really the thread's fault, just been feeling more and more distant lately

SUPERHOT IS THE MOST INNOVATIVE SHOOTER I'VE PLAYED IN YEARS!

Use this discount and join me now : http://superhotgame.com/discount/#E2F3379DA1B1

How long did it take you to finish?

the campaign is a couple hours but really well done and more memorable than some other long-ass what have yous

right after finishing it you unlock Endless mode in many areas which you keep unlocking, and a series of Challenge modes (speedruns, katana only, etc)

since the game is very gameplay centric these are great. I don't get the complaints about length, there's a lot of meat here

Do souls games usually have launch events in Japan? My housemate will be there when it comes out, hoping he can pick up some swag.

Deponia has some of the most off-putting art and humour that I've ever seen... ever. It's like the Borderlands of adventure games.

Agree with this. I consider myself a fan of the genre, but most of Daedalic's games and the Book of Unwritten Tales games look so bad when I check them out.

i cant buy battleborn on nuuvem with vmp. i arrive to paypal payment and then he said im in the wrong region

You've asked about this a few times so I figured I'd look it up for you. SteamDB shows that Battleborn has a sub that can only be activated and run in Brazil. It's likely that these are the cd keys being sold on Nuuvem. So even if you were able to buy the game from there somehow, you would only be able to run it if you lived in Brazil or ran a VPN every single time you played it. You should look elsewhere to find a deal on the game.

Can I link a uplay key to steam? I want to buy Primal on GMG, but also have it in my steam library?

You can add the uplay version as a non Steam game. You won't actually be able to redeem the key on Steam.

One more thing to add is that it is probably purchase locked

Day 8 after contacting Ubisoft Support because i am missing some DLCs and still no fix. To be hones i don't know what is worse, waiting weeks to get answer from Valve (good one or stupid one) or being in contact with Ubisoft almost daily but no solution for your issue :D

EA Support is still the best.

Good luck.

Good luck.

Thanks for the giveaway :D

I'm away all weekend without a laptop but I can't wait to play this:

Harvest Moon meets Terraria? Been such a long time since I've played Harvent Moon as well and I've been itching for a simple game to play in the background while poking around the internet.

WRT the new Deponia coming out, who's beaten all of them that they're anticipating the next one? I like it although I've not beaten the first one, but curious who's looking to Day 1 the game?

The parallel I'd offer is Book of Unwritten Tales 2. I bought and beaten the original and the expansion on GOG, then bought the next one on Steam, but I can't find myself to finish/progress whatsoever, not sure what it is. Looking at Steamspy, more folks have bought this game than Trails SC.

Can't say I'm unhappy for these kinds of sequels being made, but eventually I'll need to look at when/if I'll actually play them compared to the previous entries in the saga.

I gotta believe that they just put the game out at the absolute worst time with the least amount of press, the game is quality from everything I've heard.

Also, welcome back Grief.

I've beaten all three but I feel I'm done with the series now. All that got me through was a like of the art style and the fact I can get a weird kick out of solving obtuse PnC puzzles. The plot was eh, and Rufus is the most horrific character I've had the misfortune to play as. I kinda hoped he'd improve as the series went on but he didn't.

I have big backlog of PnCs to get through anyway if start craving some weird puzzle solving.

Finally it's time to visit Stardew Valley

what?

Characters, graphic style, animations. It looks just very, yeah, bad. In need of better art direction and character design.

The more I think about it, the less new games among P&C there is that I like.

I liked Broken Age.
Broken Sword 5 was ok.
Tales of the Borderlands was very good, but more of an interactive comic book then a game.
Dreamfall Chapters first episode was dissapointing.
Daedalic's game does very little for me.
Book of Unwritten Tales does even less for me.
Kentucky Route Zero was ok, but too much about reading lengthy dialogues, and felt to strict and handholded.

But I really like a lot of puzzle games that's close to the P&C genre. Fez, Portal, The Witness - all of them are fantastic.Need to play Talos Principle also, that I bought during the summer sale. :)

O-Okay.. I made a new one (didn't expect anyone to wanna join, but it was worth a try!).

Please help me set it up! I need suggestions and stuff. <3

Invite (auto-expires in 24 hours):

I'd already had one set up for the group, but I didn't bother actually putting it to use because it seemed like most of our chatters were fine with Steam as it was. The topic has come up from time to time, but nobody really seemed ready to commit to a switch, so I never bothered dropping invite links and fracturing the chat. If we were to switch, I'd prefer it if we used that one.

Your list is missing Wadjet Eye games.
If you haven't played them yet, make sure you do. Better than Broken Age in everything other than production values.

I was gonna give you max privileges. Then I'll be stealth. I can also hand over the Discord to you if that works?

Or let us know if you want us to move to yours, then I'll message everyone and we'll do so. :3

Btw, I sent you a message on Steam, it's probably faster to talk there.

I only assume that you somehow managed to avoid hundreds of games on steam that actually look bad, quite a talent that, I must say

for example

or do you mean that if you don't like artstyle you don't like the game, or other way around?
I know it's popular points of view among gamers, not that I can understand what artstyle has to do with a game being good or bad.

edited: what I mean, of all things to accuse Deponia of, choosing artstyle is very odd
and Book of Unwritten Tales even more so
like it makes no sense, none that I can see

I have no idea what game this is. This was one of the gleam.io giveaways that required joining 100 steam groups

Cyan and LucasArts want a word with you
LucasArts is dead, sold by Lucas and killed by Disney, and Cyan still has to prove themselves with their first Kickstarter game. Even then, the Myst-style games are different enough to be considered their own sub-genre within adventure games, regardless what you think of them.
The only name of old that is still active is probably the revived Sierra, with the new Kings Quest games. But even those seem more like half-arsed Telltale games than actual adventure games.

Danny O'Dwyer confirms that Superhot is indeed quite short, but unlocks a bunch of modes for those interested

Completed the "story" in 74 minutes, but the game unlocks a bunch other modes then. Super clever, how it all unfolds. Super. Clever.
