I know! I'm so scared.

The only reason I quit the game is due to certain countries ruining the experience.

Not playing the meta-game, not participating in teamwork/teamfights, not communicating, not building the character correctly. These issues were so problematic and so pervasive that it truly ruined the experience for me.

It became so consistently frustrating that I just couldn't stand it anymore.

Hilariously enough, it's a large problem even in Russia itself. No-one wants to play with loud-mothed nearly illiterate drama queens, which seem to make up a very large part of the Russian Dota community. Being able to understand what they have to say actually makes it worse.

Credit where credit is due: if all these EA sales over the past six-odd months are because EA is priming a complete withdrawal from Steam, nobody can say it didn't provide ample opportunity.

At the other end of the spectrum, Activision abandoning the James Bond licence just ~two-and-a-half months after 007 Legends released was ridiculous.

I will be alleviating this on Black Friday when I pick up a PS3. Already have Demon Souls through a Craislist pick up.

I think the interconnection of the Dark Souls level design is quite interesting.

It's definitely out on Steam. The email I got yesterday said it would available for download at 24 Sept. at 00:01, which is like yesterday at 7:01 here...it's bizarre. But I assumed they haven't received keys yet, even though you can buy the game not as a pre-order right now.

The current version, which is "40%" according to the devs, consists of:

• TappClicking on trees and rocks to remove them
• Dragging the edges of the land around to make it smoother/extend it
• TappClicking on each and every tent when they have new belief/followers ready, which happens quite often

That's it.

Hell, it's not just the level design. It's the stat systems. Yes, Magic was broken in Demon's Souls, but goddamn I didn't have to deal with Poise and other bullshit like Dark Souls.

I prefer Demon's Souls vastly over Dark. If Dark Souls 2 is bringing it more in line with Demon's, great. I'll just pull the cord to get around their bullshit hollow invasions and enjoy the game that way.
