Yes, easier overall, but different routes and a little more variety makes up for it.

Also, I don't remember any level being as difficult as doing 1-11, 3-9 and 3-11 for the first time and no Runner 2 level comes even close to the bonus challenge like 3-2.

I can tell from experience

EDIT: Problem persisted, so just decided to do it the traditional way. Max everything then start dialing down slowly. Turning off dx11 seemed to do it. Rocking everything else full, even physx on high, so I guess my rig just didn't like the dx11 features.

I would rather have MGSV than Rising, but you can't discount all of those people that love good action games!

I can almost guarantee MGSV will eventually get ported to PC. Game has been very costly to development, brand new engine, years in development, costly VA/motion-cap, Konami is going to want to recoup their investment.

Couple that with their resurgence to PC gaming over the last year, Castlevania: LoS, PES, MGR, LoS2, etc you can pretty much guarantee MGSV is coming.

I'm guessing Kojima just can't dedicate the resources to bringing the game to a 5th platform at this point. Konami has had a track record so far of farming out their ports to 3rd party companies, with the exception of LoS2.

If MGSV and Destiny end up coming to PC, and there is strong evidence both will eventually, then I won't need a next-gen console until 2015 or 2016.

It seems Silent Storm: Gold Edition has been released on Steam. It's a nice tactics game made by Nival way back when they didn't suck. Just three words: fully destructible environments.
