The only way in which that can happen is if Capcom replaces SSFIV:AE with Ultra, and the only way in which that can happen is if Ultra is released to existing owners for free, which is unlikely.
Edit: Though Ultra being released as a separate app rather than DLC would allow you to contact Valve and ask for SSFIV:AE to be removed from your account.

Warhead is rather short and the levels are smaller. It may be easier to get into and has less running around without much happening but Crysis remains the real deal.
Edit: Unless you're in a situation where it's recommended you "Wait for the Daily Deals!" and a game you're purchasing is liable to be one such deal. Capcom's non-tentpole stuff isn't going to be discounted further this sale, though, so jump on it.
Hmm, I could take that opportunity to delete quite a few of my unneeded games. Sadly I think many of them are parts of larger licenses like Rogue Warrior or Hunted: The Demon's Forge which I got from the QuakeCon bundle. This wouldn't be a problem if I could just hide them.
I really really had fun with it back in the day. Story is way over the top but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I remember being wowed by the opening cinematic especially. Plus, Jean Reno. What else could you ask for?
I've been getting a lot of keys from the thread lately so, here. Please don't blacklist me D:

Here's some of my impressions on the Capcom games that are on sale :
Lost Planet/Lost Planet Colonies : A good action game at its current price, it's a TPS with a grappling hook and mechs. I don't like mechs but I didn't mind them in Lost Planet. The solo campaign is ~8 hours long and is quite fun, there's a difficulty spike near the end of the game and the final boss is bullshit but I really enjoyed it. The multiplayer is dead and not really interesting. The Colonies version enhances multiplayer and uses GFWL and the regular edition uses Steam so you might want to take that one (mp is dead anyway). Port is good.
Lost Planet 2 : It is my understanding that people didn't like LP2 that much because it differs a lot from Lost Planet 1. It might come from the fact that LP2 is focused towards coop and story isn't as important as it was in LP1 (and it's also kinda confusing), plus, I found the UI to be very off-putting. When you begin a mission there's a big "MISSION START" that pops up and it's almost like you're playing an arcade game not to mention the shiny yellow boxes that drop when you kill some enemies, I quickly got used to it because the game has a lot of qualities I think.
The game is heavily focused on coop as I said and I think it's one of its strong points because you can really feel that it was built around it, there's huge bosses with multiple weak points, big maps with enemies spread all over it, multi seat mechs, support items and so on. The levels also seem like they were made with coop in mind as there is for some of them a lot of different paths and weapons/mechs to find.
The gunplay is very satisfying and you can actually do some really cool stuff with your grappling hook. I won't spoil boss battles but when you anchor yourself to a boss' weak point, stick a grenade on it and watch it explode as the boss fall to the ground as get back on your feets, feels good man. There is one boss battle that involves some coordination
(it's about operating a 4 man giant cannon on a train)
. I think you'll also love the second giant alien boss (the first one is kinda hard and not really fun to fight).
When you kill an enemy or a boss you'll sometimes see a yellow box pop out, it most of the time contains cash which is used on a slot machine in the character customization screen. You can win nicknames, new weapons, perks and emotes. I really like emotes in this game, they're often funny and there also is some that can be used to communicate (the basic stuff will be unlocked out of the gate), the rare ones have special effects like this one.. I think this is great because it feels I'm being rewarded just by playing the game, like the good old times when clearing a game gave you new costumes and gamemodes and shit (and Capcom did this kind of stuff a lot back then).
I think that wraps it up for LP2, the game can be played solo but I don't reccommend it, you'll often find a few lobbies on the week end and the rest of the week depending on the time of the day. The sale should boost this up a bit though. The competitive MP part is dead, same as LP1, so don't bother with it. The game uses GFWL. Port is good (mouse controls can be a bit janky, haven't tried it that much). Considering I played LP1 and didn't understand shit to the story until episode 5 I guess you don't need to have played LP1 to play LP2
If you decide to pick up the game and can't find anyone to play with, add me. I'm playing a lot of LP2.
Devil May Cry 4 : Just FYI I played only played DMC2-3-4. I'm not really experienced in beat them ups or whatever this genre is called.
I really enjoyed this one, I still think DMC 3 is a better game but I haven't played it since it came out so nostalgia etc.. You control 2 characters in this game, Dante and Nero. You start playing with Nero and is kind of nice to play if you're a begginner to the series, see, Dante has several weapons that he can uses and also has four styles that influences his moveset, so he can be a bit overwhemling to newcomers. Nero however has only a sword, a gun, and a special arm that he can use to grapple enemies with (and it will often trigger a pretty cool animation too).
I think the game isn't particularly easy but it isn't really that hard overall, you'll maybe struggle for a couple of boss fights or some segments in the game but it should be manageable even for someone who isn't really invested in the genre.
This is one of the goofy DMCs, Nero is kind of a serious character but Dante just doesn't give a shit and I think it enables some funny cutscenes. Doesn't use GFWL and great port. Doesn't require to have played previous DMCs
Dead Rising 2/Dead Rising 2 : Off the Record : Dead Rising is one of my favourite franchise. In case you're not familiar with the series, you're a survivor named Chuck Greene caught in a zombie outbreak and framed for it, your main goal is to find out what happened and rescue as many survivors as you can before help arrives (you have a 72h timer if I remember correctly).
During your "investigation"/rescuing survivors you'll also meet people who lost it : psychopaths. They act as boss battles throughout the game and each have its own pattern and weak point.
The game takes place in a casino resort or whatever this is called, meaning you have a central park area with casinos around it, there's also an underground area (you'll rarely be there on cases (=missions)). You can play slot machines, virtual poker and a few other games, the money you win or earn in cases can be used to purchase breakable items or vehicles (each vehicle can access different areas). By rescuing survivors or doing cases you can level which lets you use new moves and schematics : you can actually build several weapons in workshops you'll find around the resort. You can build every weapon from the get go, however its efficiency is determined by whether or not you have its schematic (it unlocks a special blow for some weapons).
Now that we're done with gameplay stuff, you should now that Dead Rising is not a "serious" zombie game, it's over the top, with B-movie dialogues/one-liners, silly characters and psychopaths. You can kill hundred of zombies while cross dressing and wearing a lego helmet with a rotating blade mounted on top if you want it.
The game is playable in coop and I think it's one of those games you can have fun with and not because you're laughing at how bad the game is made. I think DR1 is still better but that may just be nostalgia speaking.
Off the Record is exactly the same game as DR2 except for 2 bosses, one area and the fact that you're playing Frank West (the hero of DR1). Other than that, dialogues and cutscenes are the same. This means you won't experience the awesomeness of Frank West since developpers had less liberties in old cutscenes, I find the new ones hilarious though. If you played Dead Rising 1 you'll notice something went horribly wrong when they modeled Frank but you get used to it. Off the Record has a sandbox mode and Dead Rising 2 hasn't. They both use GFWL. Okay port I guess (I think the game isn't that well optimized but since it's an old one without any fancy effects it will not be noticeable with a mid range rig).
Resident Evil 5 : I won't spend much time talking about RE series. Just so you know, to me this series has been a TPS since RE4. RE5's gameplay is basically RE4 with worse pacing, worse art style but prettier graphics. I still found it pretty good for what it is, the imposed AI is kind of a pain if you're playing solo but it's great fun in coop. For this price you'll get a lot of content and enjoyement. Uses GFWL. Good port.
Resident Evil 6 : This is a tricky one. The game isn't anything like RE4-5 gameplay wise.
Imo it's a game with outstanding gameplay ruined by bad pacing and the need to make the game cinematic. I made this post a while back..
You're the only person you can trust there so go ahead and watch some youtube videos, that's how I knew I would like the game. Steamworks. Good port, adjustable FOV in game
Resident Evil Revelaitons : A closer game to RE4 than RE5, it's more focused on the atmosphere and has a slower pacing. It's still a TPS though (rail shooting sequence and other woop dee doos) and ammo isn't scarce. It has a great multiplayer mode which mix Resident Evil and RPG elements. There's an excellent post about it by Neiteio here.. Steamworks. Good port, adjustable FOV with an external program (see PCGamingWiki)
I could do one for SSFIVAE but I only casually play it when friends come over at the apartment so I don't have anything interesting to say about it. I think it's a great fighting game.

So I see Onimusha 3: Demon Siege is on sale, I didn't even know Capcom had this on Steam, but because its an older game I'm worried this is a bad port like Devil May Cry 3 is, does anyone have any Onimusha play time with this and do they have any nice things to say about it?
Also holy balls that Humble Bundle made me break 1k games.

I hope there won't be some bugs with The Wolf Among Us for the people who will be buying it tomorrow (I won't). Things like the Save Games disappearing are always upsetting moments.

That is why i am holding off for a while until any nasty bugs have surfaced, if any. Save game issues are the worst for killing my passion and interest in a game.
I do enjoy a good Telltale game though so it's very tempting to jump in now.
My tastes must be going off the rails. Lost Planet 2 and RE6 are by far the most interesting games on sale today. GFWL is the only thing that has me hesitant on the former. I'd like to limit the heartbreak come January.
