Of course the button appears when he's logged into
your account because you're in the beta.
When I was banned from my preferred CS:S server, I made a second account and bought CS:S again, so I've been playing with Family Sharing using that. Here's what another user (who's
not in the beta) sees when they're logged into a device you've authorised:

You'll notice there's no family sharing button. Additionally, when I switch to my primary account, the button returns, but I'm not shown the library of my secondary account:

I am really confused how this has worked for me with 2 people who don't have access to the beta but I am able to play their games and they are able to play mine.
