Thanks for Limbo, guit3467!
Soooo... since Humble Bundle is trying to kill the key gifting...
Plus a veiled Steam port begging (KONAMI!!! Don't let 'em die in vain! Don't you die in vain! Come here and spread you magic in Steam!).
It doesn't ruin the previous games, just like Episodes 1-3 didn't ruin the original Star Wars trilogy. If anything, their shittiness will make you appreciate those even more.F.E.A.R. 1 and 2 are still amazing, even if the latter does have extremely wonky movement controls (no walking, really?). It's only after you realize what F.E.A.R. 2's ending is all about that you start to see the events occuring throughout the game for what they really are, and that's really well done. It also helped that I'd only played through the game once or twice on Xbox, so a lot of the tension remained.
I bought F.E.A.R. 3 this sale, and I intend to play it, just dunno when I'll get around to it. Part of me doesn't want to retroactively ruin the first and the second. :lol
Edit: TopWare has brought seminal FPS games ...

I just got up and this is the first thing that popped onto my screen when I started up my pc:
Now that's what I call having something worth getting up for!
Thanks so much sir, I've not read any of the comics or seen any of the tv programmes so this will be a real treat for me after all the good things I've heard about it.
Now to properly wake up with a nice cup of coffee and catch up on what you SteamGAF boys and girls have been up to overnight!
Suddenly reminded that I bought 400 days and haven't played it yet. Need to get on that.
Does it hold up to the main game?
Does it hold up to the main game?
I stupidly bought 4 of the episodes on 360 and then ended up getting the bundle on PC, I need to make my way through the game again as I actually quite liked it. Bought 400 Days too as it was on sale for so cheap. Just need to find the time to play it!
Still pushing that seminal DRM.

Yeah I have the same problems, on the PS3 version, just holding the stick to the left dead on will make the character go at an odd angle for some reason. Some really frustrating moments when you've popped someone with a gun and need to escape the room and end up missing the door. Auto-aim does suck a lot lot of fun out of the game.
PC version excels very well as you can easily aim with a greater degree of control and precision. It's well worth picking up for PC.
You can't use them without the security code on the back. Right?
Oh wait, Debits don't have those.
Alright night shifters, I was aiming for a later giveaway but I'm too tired from a looooong day. Trick or treaters, Deadly Premonition, a friend's funeral, and not a little booze to go with it all.
Say thank you and I'll chalk it up as a good day:
Hello guys. Looking at my Humble Bundle purchases I saw a lot of games I already had so I just want to give the keys of this games away. Although I don't post too much here (basically my first language is spanish) this is my favourite thread on Neogaf.
Today is a sad day, Nintendo decided to shut down Swapnote because some kids were receiving porn pics or something. Hopefully Vale will never take down Steam chat for that same reason :/
Man, this sucks. Sorry for the off-topic, just wanted to vent.

I suppose it was the wise thing to do:
Edit: TopWare has brought seminal FPS games Chicken Shoot and Chicken Shoot 2 to Steam (50% off; $3.49).
Edit edit: And Heli Heroes (50% off; $2.49).
Edit edit edit: And Earth 2150 Trilogy (50% off; $3.49).
What is that DRM anyway? I've never been able to find info on it, is it a launcher or something more like SecuROM?
From what the little I've read it seems to be activation-based, like SecuROM or Tages.
I'm surprised there's no option to add to cart directly from the steam store page on its 'list' items, or a direct 'add to wishlist' option.
Isn't that the one where you have to beg some mod on a forum for more installs?
I think you need to contact TopWare, with a forum PM being one such option.
Opened the link, read "phone activation", rotfled hard.
I'm totally sure they have a call center based in Italy, just to spare the hypotetical me buying games with that DRM the international call to activate them.
It's very easy to make those decisions when you realize that events will play out the same way regardless of your decision.Do you like making hard decisions with no right answer? Enjoy them being constantly thrown at you for an hour destroying any weight they might carry!

Can't make a new thread so I'll post here. Edge has an article on the Steam Controller, not sure if it's been posted already:

Enjoy! It's quite an experience
watch out for those feels man, they'll get you.
I don't know if my word had any weight here, but Valdis Story is legit.
If you liked any of the GBA or DS Castlevania games, check it out.
I'll pop in with some more impressions throughout the day and hopefully I can have a pretty good review written up by the weekend.
