I can't sell my booster pack because steam thinks my laptop is a new pc.

Got the same issue since I did a fresh install of Windows 8.1. Luckily I can sell on my work PC still.

I can understand why they did it, but it's a bit of a ham-fisted approach. They should really allow me to prove myself some other way before I get selling.

Just realised that I lost the 39 Steps raffle giveaway from yesterday to The Monk. I ain't even mad. Hope you enjoy it, fellow gaffer!

F.E.A.R. 1 and 2 are still amazing, even if the latter does have extremely wonky movement controls (no walking, really?). It's only after you realize what F.E.A.R. 2's ending is all about that you start to see the events occuring throughout the game for what they really are, and that's really well done. It also helped that I'd only played through the game once or twice on Xbox, so a lot of the tension remained.

I bought F.E.A.R. 3 this sale, and I intend to play it, just dunno when I'll get around to it. Part of me doesn't want to retroactively ruin the first and the second. :lol

Today is a sad day, Nintendo decided to shut down Swapnote because some kids were receiving porn pics or something. Hopefully Vale will never take down Steam chat for that same reason :/

Man, this sucks. Sorry for the off-topic, just wanted to vent.

It doesn't ruin the previous games, just like Episodes 1-3 didn't ruin the original Star Wars trilogy. If anything, their shittiness will make you appreciate those even more.

I just got up and this is the first thing that popped onto my screen when I started up my pc:

Now that's what I call having something worth getting up for! :D

Thanks so much sir, I've not read any of the comics or seen any of the tv programmes so this will be a real treat for me after all the good things I've heard about it :D.

Now to properly wake up with a nice cup of coffee and catch up on what you SteamGAF boys and girls have been up to overnight!

You're in for a treat, and right in time for season 2, too.

I stupidly bought 4 of the episodes on 360 and then ended up getting the bundle on PC, I need to make my way through the game again as I actually quite liked it. Bought 400 Days too as it was on sale for so cheap. Just need to find the time to play it!

I have 'em all on the Xbox, too, and bought them again for PC this summer.

Yeah I have the same problems, on the PS3 version, just holding the stick to the left dead on will make the character go at an odd angle for some reason. Some really frustrating moments when you've popped someone with a gun and need to escape the room and end up missing the door. Auto-aim does suck a lot lot of fun out of the game.

PC version excels very well as you can easily aim with a greater degree of control and precision. It's well worth picking up for PC.

Well some people can :(.

You can't use them without the security code on the back. Right?

Oh wait, Debits don't have those.

Mine does. It is
lol

Alright night shifters, I was aiming for a later giveaway but I'm too tired from a looooong day. Trick or treaters, Deadly Premonition, a friend's funeral, and not a little booze to go with it all.

Say thank you and I'll chalk it up as a good day:

Thank you fellow GAFer, you did good :). Sorry about your rough day, hope you're okay.

Hello guys. Looking at my Humble Bundle purchases I saw a lot of games I already had so I just want to give the keys of this games away. Although I don't post too much here (basically my first language is spanish) this is my favourite thread on Neogaf.

You did good too! :) Your English is good you know? Well up to par for an English language message board
and superior to a lot of the native English Language speakers too

I just picked up the message on my 3DS and immediately facepalmed. Oh Nintendo.

I suppose it was the wise thing to do:

Edit: TopWare has brought seminal FPS games Chicken Shoot and Chicken Shoot 2 to Steam (50% off; $3.49).

Edit edit: And Heli Heroes (50% off; $2.49).

Edit edit edit: And Earth 2150 Trilogy (50% off; $3.49).

I think "seminal" should be a massive clue there. I tried CS on the Wii when I had a 3 month trial rental period with Lovefilm and is is baaaaaaaaad! Not quite Bad Rats levels of bad but in a way that makes it worse.

I'm surprised there's no option to add to cart directly from the steam store page on its 'list' items, or a direct 'add to wishlist' option.

Now you owe me this. I don't care if we get moved to
community, that sounds pretty delicious.

I know this derails the thread a little, sorry guys, I owed it to animlboogy.

Here goes as promised:

Covering didn't end up as good as planned, but it was a very tasty and healthy dinner.

I think you need to contact TopWare, with a forum PM being one such option.

Opened the link, read "phone activation", rotfled hard.

I'm totally sure they have a call center based in Italy, just to spare the hypotetical me buying games with that DRM the international call to activate them.

gave away the keys to the kingdom.

Making a universal deactivation tool would make life easier for everybody involved, but I suppose activation-based DRM isn't supposed to be convenient. ;)

Do you like making hard decisions with no right answer? Enjoy them being constantly thrown at you for an hour destroying any weight they might carry!
It's very easy to make those decisions when you realize that events will play out the same way regardless of your decision.

Well, apparently 400 Days "ending scene" should have repercussions in Season 2, so technically events won't play out the same way. :)

So I just wasted my money buying the new Humble Bundle and can't access the Steam keys. Great. I really should have read back a few pages before doing that.

Enjoy! It's quite an experience

watch out for those feels man, they'll get you.

I don't know if my word had any weight here, but Valdis Story is legit.

If you liked any of the GBA or DS Castlevania games, check it out.

I'll pop in with some more impressions throughout the day and hopefully I can have a pretty good review written up by the weekend.

Yes please, the IGAvanias we're great, and this is the first I've heard of this comparison.
