If you bought the first groupees geenlight bundle you should check to see for an underrail steam key. Just checking randomly to see if Oozi got a steam key up and clicked on the underrail link and there was a steam key there. Wasn't expecting that.

Anyone fancy a Divekick -66% coupon? Expires on the 9th. SteamID is goonbridge

does anyone know, divekick lets you pair up with a friend online (through steam invites not just randoms), right? for player matches? i'd only want it to play vs my buddy so just making sure.

Would you mind elaborating on your process then? You seemed to have left out a few steps.

Well the hard part is to get a Russian IP (or any country, Italian might be cheap I think) that you can trust with your payment details. Unfortunately I cannot share mine.

Then just open those two links in your browser to get both games in your cart: http://i.imgur.com/HyPLvCC.png
Click the blue(ish) button (OPLATA) to get to the logon page: http://i.imgur.com/z0LchKB.png

Log in to your Uplay account, enter payment details, confirm and that's it.

I'm still kicking myself for not jumping on that Swedish Call of Juarez: Gunslinger deal.

If it was Finnish I would have bought it instantly

First time VPN worked with the Ubistore. I got an order confirmation in Russian and it shows in the order overview under shop.ubi.com. Of course they can still cancel it (and the more people use this exploit, the higher the chances). Anyway, let's see how it goes and thx for letting us know!

It's not 4999 rubles is it? The use of commas makes me nervous.

I login but it requires me to enter my address info and stuff. I got most of it, but it's all in Russian! I don't know which Country option is Canada!

Oh man, Pinball Arcade is awesome.

Anyone that's even remotely into pinball games ought to at least check the free table the devs provide. It's lovely.

Kind of barebones PC port, no options to speak of, but still, great great game.

I just wish the devs would port Pinball Dreams/Fantasies and Slam Tilt tables to it. Would get my monies day one.

Who here is interested in designing some levels for a platform game? (I'm not offering a job, I'm just asking, who thinks it can be a fun thing to do?)

Just noticed that I have coupons for -33% Foul Play and -25% Volgarr the Viking that expire on the 16th. Anyone want them? I'm not going to use them so I might as well give them away to anyone interested.

My country, Brazil, is not on the list of countries. Or at least I can't find it.

That's bullshit.

I chose something that had a close country code to mine, and I alrady gota confirmation email. Nothing on my CC yet, and this will probably be cancelled, but we'll see.

Related to this conversation, I just finally installed my uPlay client. I have a bunch of Ubisoft games on Steam, and some don't have Ubisoft integration and others don't even have a key (like Assassin's Creed). Any way to assign those to my uPlay account?

Nope, there is an official statement from Ubisoft somewhere regarding this.

So I jumped this 100 roubles deal as well. I didn't get a confirmation letter for some reason (it's been about five minutes though) and there's nothing new on my UPlay account.

EDIT: Oh, I thought ACIV was already out for some reason.

EDIT2: Got a confirmation email now. Let's see where it goes.

I got a confirmation email, which I promptly asked Gmail to translate, and for some reason it translated руб to AUD, which made me freak out instantly.

Then I reverted to the original message and, thankfully, the prices were listed in руб. That was very weird.

I wonder if this will only be charged when the game releases, which means we won't know if this works until the release day.

For the very first time I'm playing Sleeping Dogs NOT in a small Windowed mode with everything on LOW, on the lowest possible settings with a weak framerate. And for the very first time I can't describe the opposite of playing like that. I just can't my good fellow GAFfers.

I got this from the Steam Store:

Then I tried and on Fullscreen, in a 1080p Monitor and while not on everything maxed of course the difference is just... just...hmm... Hnnnnnng. Ugh:

I'm really trying to find some decent words to describe these emotional feelings but lately I can't express what I feel in words, I'm speechless actually. I'm even ashamed that my vocabulary is too weak to find a proper sentence to describe what I'm seeing right now.

Fuck yeah dude, great game--just beat it today. Enjoy!

So, is it better than Pinball FX2?

Yeah:

It's not Steam, but I couldn't find a Uplay thread and someone might actually use this.

There is an error on Uplay page which allows to pre-order Assassin's Creed IV and Watch Dogs really cheap.

There are two links from GeForce promo ( http://www.geforce.com/landing-page/holiday-bundle-shield/redemption-instructions ):

http://shop.ubi.com/NVIDIAAC4BF - Assassin's Creed IV
http://shop.ubi.com/NVIDIAWD - Watch Dogs

When you click them, they will be placed in your cart automatically. The trick is, both games cost 49.99 in your regional currency. So if you live in US, it's 49.99$, if you live in Poland it's 49.99 PLN (~16.20$), in Norway it's 44.99 NOK (~7.56$). The best deal I was able to find was in Russia (duh!): 49.99 RUB (~1.54$).

I know it's pre-order and I know it will most likely be canceled, but still, might be worth a shot.

As evident from posts on this page, it at least lets you buy it. Whether the order will get cancelled or not remains to be seen, but I think it's worth a shot.

Are you guys not extremely paranoid about giving your card details out over a proxy?

Cheap games win over the slight chance I have to call my credit card company. It's not like I have to pay anything if the card gets abused. Also these transactions use secure connections which should be save, proxy or no proxy.

Yes fellow GAFfer but I "recycled" everything I could to get the best price, things like the case, mouse a cheap keyboard and 2.1 sound system (from 2005) were things I already had so I could save some money on that.

I'm now very curious for some other games than can "look pretty", can't wait to get some of them (very) later on.

Congratulations on the new PC, man. May it bring you much joy. : )
