The game's DLC needs a decent discount already. I own a ton of it already since I bought the DDE, but there's still a truckload left to buy.
Is this worth it for someone who was pretty meh about Uncharted 1 and 2, but really enjoyed the first few Tomb Raider games?

Yes. I'm a fairly big fan of the Uncharted series, and I really liked TR's synthesis of the former's approach with it's own traditional stuff. Mind you, it's probably closer to Uncharted than to the original TR games, so ymmv.
We need to be getting some sort of Valve announcement.
I'd say no. The game wears its Uncharted influences on its sleeve.
I might jump on an RU copy of Injustice.

Valve's cutting it close as the intention was (and presumably still is) to get prototype units in the hands of users by the end of the year.

Besides the obvious jokes I think we're near of hearing an official statement, we had some companies talking and showcasing their prototypes form the Steam Machines. I think Valve is doing it to keep the hype and the momentum going in their favor, this way they're always in the tech/games sites.

Now the VGX page loaded, and my guess is they are going to stream it through Steam to show the new streaming capabilities Valve is working.

I'm a little surprised by the VGX thing with Steam because they always treat PC gaming like an irrelevant platform that has no games.
