They're completely separate purchases. It's just that the add to cart button is only for The Ball. If you click on the image, it takes you to the page where you can add both.

Yes, I'm aware. :) Sorry, didn't mean to send off that message, but it was more a heads up to anyone thinking of purchasing both. Thanks though, we might have helped someone at least!

Anybody here interested in trading Dungeon of Dredmor for a Lara Croft GOL code? It's steamworks.

I'll do it, price difference and all just to spread the roguelike joy that is Dungeons of Dredmor.

PM me.

They really should put up a warning that GRID's multiplayer severs are shut down. It's too bad, I think it's a great game otherwise.

Laughed when I saw the new DLC for DOW2:Retribution costs two-thirds what I paid for the game itself.

Yay for Steam sale pricing errors!

Watching TotalBiscuit's 'WTF is _' on a game you're on the fence about is hazardous to your wallet.

I immediately bought Dungeons of Dredmor after I finished watching his coverage of it, and proceeded to lose myself in it, only to check the time and realize I might be late for class. Shit.

Almost certainly. I think the only times that region makes a difference for Steam are censored German/Aussie versions, and the super-cheap Russian editions.

Cool, thanks. Looks like I'll be importing the UK Augmented then.

This is TotalBiscuit and I'm here to answer one simple question: WTF is a budget anyway?

He's an excellent reviewer

I'll post this one more time and that's it :) I have extra copies of Defense Grid, Sanctum, Killing Floor, and Left 4 Dead. Would anyone trade me a copy of Dungeons of Dredmor for any of that?

Also to add more meat to my post I have been playing a lot of Jamestown recently. It has the perfect amount of challenge to be extremely satisfying when you do finally beat whatever goal you are working on. Whether it be Challenge mode or high difficulty levels.

Is the Ball good?
The Ball is excellent barring some bits of the finale and as Morningbus said, the Portal 2 content is phenomenal.

Oh my GOD

I swear to god the person who made this part will rot in HELL
Lmao, that's the part I loved. Great bit of platforming there.

It fucking sucks, I'm using a trainer now to give me time to think. I need more time to think and redos to do it the way the game wants me to. I simply don't have the ability to do this garbage normally.

And I get to the end and there's a timed one FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

Another lost soul in need of a roguelike? I've got everything on offer except Defense Grid. If it were another game you were wanting I'd probably pass. However, it's a roguelike on Steam and it needs all the love it can get. PM me and we'll work out a trade.

Anyone else having trouble NOT buying every single daily deal since the Steam Sale ended? I almost bit on UAW and not only do I already own it but have played it out completely.

Wow @ Dawn of War II DLC price. From the description it seems like it's just multiplayer units/costumes too.

As a new Retribution owner (bought it in the Steam sale), is ANY of the DLC worth getting? Does any of it add anything to the single player part of the game?

What kind of Portal 2 content comes with the ball ?
It's a long map that is broken up into 7 meaty puzzle rooms. You can find it under the Survival mode (it isn't really a survival map). I also recommend you play a bit of the campaign first so you have a grasp on some of the game's mechanics.

One important note: while there is checkpoints in the level you can't do a perma save and quit the game. It will take at least an hour to complete the first time through so make sure you have the time to get into it.

So there's no demo for Dungeons of Dredmor; is anyone running it on a netbook? If so, how it runs?

Billychu said:
I'm very short on time, so I could only test for a minute but my netbook (1.66 Ghz Intel Atom, 1GB RAM, Windows 7) seems to run the game fine. It seemed a tad slow, but perfectly playable. Later tonight I'll put some time into it to see if it still runs fine when I'm actually in a dungeon populated with enemies.

Billychu said:
So this game definitely runs on my netbook. Don't let the sytem specs scare you away!

Billychu says Dungeons of Dredmor works well on a netbook. Give it a go!

Adding up all the pages (assume each page of the web comic is a page of the real book), the comic would break down to...

- 27 pages of Lab Ratt
- 55 pages of the various TF2 comics
- 178 pages of the Sacrifice

Total: 260 pages
And it'll probably have a few extra pages of commentary or whatever.

That's a big comic book!

Damn, really? I really don't care about the Sacrifice at all, I'd far prefer to have each volume separately.
