Someone in the STEAM group chatroom had posted the link to the offer, so not through the thread. I was completely unaware there was a thread about it until a few days later, and as I said, I had never posted in the thread in the first place.

I didn't get any extra keys! This is the only one I had even attempted to get, even after the other location was found out and they were giving out keys, too. I was originally going to get it for a friend who wanted the game, but he got one through the offer himself. Figured I might as well get a little something back in return, y'know?

Absolutely nothing. I sat here and fought through translated quizzes and server errors for a great while, so nothing major at all. I could care less if it goes against your ethics or what you believe, I put it up for drastically cheaper than it's current retail price AND it's price during the STEAM sale. Just because I got it for free doesn't mean that it's instantly valued at that.

Not like its hasn't done before. With people trying to trade other humble indie bundles a few weeks after they end or trying to trade free copies of Portal for other games on sale. Saying how its a good price since Portal normally goes for 9.99. >_>

Lots of very grateful people on there - Some 13 year old kid won a copy of Portal 2 Final Hours that I purchased on a whim, and was really happy as his parents wouldn't let him buy it.

Don't get cranky about it. You didn't pay anything for it. It's a zero dollar game. That's what you paid for it. But in your defense, at least you weren't asking for a 40 or 50 dollar game in return like some people.

There's nothing fundamentally wrong with arbitrage. It doesn't matter if you got it for free, what matters is what it's worth to the other person. Of course, if you want to be generous and sell the game for half price or even give it away, more power to you, but don't hate on people who don't.
