For anyone who bought Gatling Gears, is the EA account needed if all I want to do is play single player?

I think so... iirc, on the first launch of the game, an ea windows appears to activate it on your ea account.

And i check now on my origin client, and the game is also there... but it says something like "non publicated" and dosnt give me the option to download it.

Also in a weird move, once ingame, looks like you can log in with your EA account or not... if not the singleplayer saves stores offline, if yes online, but in a brilliant move, the saves are not compatible or something like that...

PS: this is what i mean

They've added Puzzle Pirates to the F2P games. Downloading now to check if you can log in with your Steam account like in Spiral Knights (it's by the same dev).

Edit: Yup, you can use your Steam account. It looks kinda shitty though.

gmg has call juarez cartel for $25.49, they say its 15% off $30. but steam has it listed for $50.

am interested in this game at the right price...

Is it too much to ask for Valve to specifically cater to me with their daily deal selections? Some times I feel like they're not even trying.

The Next BIG Thing is a pretty decent point-and-click adventure. Beautiful art, nice humor, and the puzzles are fun. But it was short (at least for me).

Thanks for the feedback. Do you know of a way to revoke an activation?

Daily deals have been mostly disappointing for me too. Well, except for Vampire.

Same here, except that Metro 2033 sale the other day, that was refreshing and I had to bite.

Now I'm just waiting for The Witcher Enchanced Edition sale so I can beat it and finally start playing Witcher 2.

I've been pretty happy with Daily Deals. I've bought a lot of games from it but here lately I haven't because I seem to have all the games that go on sale.

Daily Deal: The Next Big Thing 50% off = $14.99

This game is really a ton of fun, great game. One super frustrating puzzle that you should just hint system/faq your way out of
the hieroglyphics puzzle
. Other than that, though. It's a blast with a bunch of really cool characters, legitimately funny and it looks great.

If you like adventure games, you should really check this game out. Pendulo nailed it. Tie between this and Gemini Rue for best adventure game of the year, and it's been a good year.

Wait some more, it's gold bomba material. Probably will go under the 20s by Christmas.

Wait, The Next Big Thing is an adventure game? I thought it was a satirical election campaign simulator thing, like Tropico but for American elections. Am I getting it mixed up with something else?

Oh man, I was looking around for puzzle rpg's yesterday, and even saw the old thread here on Gaf talk about Puzzle Pirates. Neato, I'll check it out.

I have the game you're talking about...but I can't remember the name of it. I have it on my Impulse account.

I'm sure said before, Steam sorely needs iOS and android appbadly. Theyre going in the right direction though with their twitter announcements and such.

Yup, you're getting it mixed up with something else.

It's an adventure game made in Spain, i think, by the same guys that made Runaway, not to be mistaken for a Project Runway game, like i did. I hear they're pretty decent.

I'm hoping we get some awesome Skyrim prices from places like GMG, the current best offer seems to be Ozgameshop for $43 (that's the retail version), any chance of it going lower?

I don't get people complaining about daily deals. You can't expect EVERY day to have a game you want.

I kind of sigh, then be grateful when the daily deal is a game I have no interest in -- it saves me money!

i missed all of the steam summer sale cause i wasn't really into PC gaming (GPU was getting old) and missed out on a bunch of games i would of bought. ended up buying a GPU a few weeks after it ended.

so far, i've been able to get all of the games from the summer sale but one or two, in the midweek madness/weekend deals/daily deals/quakecon/other deal sites deals.

borderlands, metro 2033, batman AA, arkham asylum, fallout 3 GOTY, magicka. (prolly like $5-$6 avg). i should of got oblivion but i've tried like 5 times to get into it and failed so idk.

all i'm really missing is battlefield BC2 and guild wars really. pretty awesome how you can miss steam's biggest sale and still pretty much get all the games :)

Can anyone else not launch Assassins Creed 2 from steam? (or any version at all?) Its saying I'm not connected to the internet when I try to launch it. Thank you DRM?

Could someone send me a Green Man Gaming referral link? I tried to use one that someone sent me but it didn't have any credit to use on my new order? I guess it expired or something. I dunno.

Oh, you get the $5 in credit after your first purchase and you have to register a new account with the referral link for it to work.

Yep. I tried launching The Forgotten Sands and it tells me Ubi servers are unavailable. I expect Conviction to be the same but I haven't tried it because apparently it's uninstalled.

Hey, cheer up, at least those pesky pirates are not playing their illegitimately downloaded games, right?

think you probably have used another link :/

You know what, fuck this. I was just getting into the game and was looking forward to playing and now I cant even start the game.

I've had a pretty miserable day and this is a shitty nightcap. Suck it, Ubi.

Conviction's not working either. All kinds of ridiculous.

I played Kane and Lynch 2 for 45 minutes today, man this game is pretty good. I used a Fiver from my GMG referral monies to get it for free (when it was on sale). Graphics look awesome maxed out.
