Any single player content in the DLC? Not sure if I can link up with my Co-op buddy now (we have drastically different schedules), and I'd be damned if I play co-op with randoms.

Play with NeoGAF. :3

I think the Steam hardware stats are messed up for this month. I don't see how people are going to play BF3 if they all upgraded to sick DX8 and below hardware.

I just bought a new PC and I have steam installed on the SSD but I would like the games to be downloaded to another HDD. Is that possible? I know that you can move them after you download them but I would like to have them download directly to my "game" HDD.
Download gamesavemanager (awesome app) for free and use steam spreader.

First, I can't buy The Binding of Isaac because I have no funds left in my Paypal Account. Now, Portal 2. FUCK.

Well, at least I can hope they'll be cheaper during the Winter sale :(

EDIT: Daily is Crysis, 75% off.

Was there some huge update I missed before Peer Review? I had Portal 2 since day 1, and pretty much moved the folder off after finishing coop with a friend the week of release. Unlike all the other games that I can easily move it's folder back into Steam, Portal 2 wants to redownload itself all over again for some reason and validation is stuck at 100% while it's still downloading in the background. Even L4D2 didn't give me that much trouble when I reinstalled it and only had to download the additional maps I was missing between updates.

Orcs Must Die! is pretty awesome! It's good enough that I can overlook their lack of any kind of key configuration and v-sync that introduces a redonkulous amount of mouse lag.

Orcs Must Die!!! Is fucking fantastic. Day one.
Also mouse lag is only present in the menus for me, not actually when controlling the hero. Weird.

Wow, you're right - it doesn't seem to hurt actual gameplay! I turned it off immediately when I saw how sluggish the mouse was in the menus.

I liked it with a 360 controller.

I thought we had this discussion last time Crysis was on sale and people said they actually had removed the DRM on Crysis, but not Warhead.

Crysis warhead has a revoke tool, not sure about crysis, it won't kill Crytek to update there store page especially since they dictate what drm goes with the game.

Wow, been waiting on a sale on Crysis. Can Australia or Euro-GAF gift me both Crysis and Warhead? According to Steamprices, both are $4 each give or take.

Did you check the Maximum Edition? Should be around 5 units of money combined, it's 5€ in Europe. 3,74 and 2,49 individually.

In case anyone wondering about Payday here is the delay reason

PAYDAY release date update
Posted on 2011/10/04 by simon

As many of you already know, the world has to wait a teeny weeny bit longer for Payday to hit the streets. We apologize for this, and we sincerely apologize for coming out with this information so late.

It’s just that we worked so hard – and kept hoping a punctual release would e possible – up until the very last minute. We’ve been nurturing this baby for 20 months – it’s now full grown and ready to rock your socks off – but as it turns out we need just a few more days with it. The game is literally done – it is currently being reviewed for final certification.

Pre-ordering are still rolling, the PSN Play deal is still in effect – and for those planning to get the game on Steam, the 10% discount pre-order deal continues! Joining a criminal network has never been so economically and morally affordable!

The game is still due release this month (October) so you won’t have to wait much longer!

Just bought Portal 2 and Crysis. After Rage and both Witcher games I definitely need a new hdd. How easy is it to move the Steam directory? I'm guessing moving the games folder, installing Steam to the new location and copying back my games?

Either use Steam Mover or Game Save Manager which includes a feature called Steam Spreader to do the same thing. You don't even need to reinstall.

Looks like Battlefield 3 may be making its way to Steam just in time for the game's launch on October 25th, or at least that's the word on fansite Battlefield 3 Blog. BF3Blog claims to have received an anonymous tip from inside of Valve, stating that Valve and EA are in late-stage talks to bring BF3 to Steam. According to their source, the agreement hinged on the sale of DLC. Valve requires all DLC to be sold through Steam, while EA would prefer to sell it via their own channels.

Battlefield 3 may possibly head to Steam.

Battlelog wouldn't be as bad if you could use it within the in-game Steam overlay browser. It's purely anecdotal but the only two times that the Steam overlay has crashed for me in the BF3 beta have been when I tried accessing Battlelog. Then again they make you install a plug-in for Chrome and Firefox so I doubt it'll work unless they drop that.
