Haha, I just pre-ordered the new edition of Street Fighter 4 a few days ago at $40. Not it's almost $14 less. :-(

My experience was not great. The first time I played it, things weren't soooo bad but I decided to wait for patches cos things were definitely a bit wobbly. Several months passed and I went back to it. I think it was worse than before. Some asshole decided it'd be good to constantly ram me, lulz griefing. Started driving around and it looked terrible with everything maxed and the framerate was poor. When the Enterprise started beaming out the other cars on the road, I gave up. I checked the forums which were flowing with rage against Atari and wrote it off as a loss. Good times.

For £5 I wouldn't be anywhere near as pissed off, I'd probably treat it as a joke purchase. Fucking pre-orders, how do they work?

For awhile I thought The Witcher 2 33% off was only the week long deal and it was going to get an even deeper daily deal discount and I was kicking myself for having gotten it on Direct2Drive two weeks ago for $33. But really this is as cheap as it's going to go so it's all good! Plus my version has no DRM, but also has no achievements.

Some seem to be limited, there are others, like the Defense Grid DLC maps, that were around before.

I liked the Holiday sweepstakes where I had the extremely remote chance of winning free games by doing in-game achievements for games that were put on sale.

Dear Everyone:
Me, Syl, and Tappet arrived okay at Steam Summer Camp today. A lot of our friends are here too. The folks we left back at Valve--who all got pink-eye and couldn't go--said they'd put up the pictures from camp that we send them (after they're done posting the loads of Summer Camp daily sales and publisher packs on Steam each day). The first one (with our new pals Marty and Max) is there now. This morning, Syl drove Marty's car. Tappet had to work the pedals, but we got it up to 87 miles an hour on the dirt! We think we can get it to go faster tonight.
The counselors have planned a bunch of camp activities each day. Like playing games gets you special Steam Summer Camp Achievements. Then they say you get tickets for each Achievement you earn. Big whoop, right?!? But, guess what? There's a Prize Booth where you can trade your tickets for cool stuff. I made the banner on the booth!
At the end of camp, they're giving away some really big prizes: one-hundred campers get the top ten games on their Wishlist! They were going to have field day races for prizes, but not all of us have legs.

ok so if witcher 2 is a daily, it likely wont get cheaper than that, yeah? sad we cant paypal to russia, but again, russia-GAF: if you want to trade for a $14 game, hit me up!
