Somebody over in the sale thread said there were two weeks without sales after the holiday sale, so that might be what's going on here. Makes sense to me...who would want to follow all that?

At least now I won't be tempted to stay up until 1AM just to see what the next daily deal is. Maybe I can finally get my body clock back in order during these final weeks of the mid-year Uni break. :p

Well, last Christmas sale there was a two week lull so, we'll see. Probably nothing today, but who knows, right?

And it includes Breath of Death 7, so you are getting two games for the price that either would cost individually on the 360 Indie store.

Time to get going on the ALMOST 300$ of games I bought during the sale now, pretty sure download speeds are still abysmal though.

So we made it out of another sale alive but broke. At least most of you can play your games now, I still have to wait for my parts to come back. I've got like 30 games waiting for me :(

The drawing is tomorrow, they don't specifically state when the winners will be announced though, as far as I know. I assume tomorrow as well.

Yup, I've got my monies ready on my Steam wallet. I hope the devs consider patching in Steam achievements in the future...

I was able to pick up Vampire: TM on sale after the summer sale had ended. Some stuff is still up.

I instinctively woke up at 3:05am to check the new sales. This morning I kept reloading to watch them go away.

Then I just gave in (at 3:45am via my phone) and bought the id Pack even though I have the Quake pack already.

I have a problem.

Damn it Steam! The sale got me all hyped for Steam and I just ended up spending another $55 on items from the Valve Store. Can't wait for my GlaDOS mousepad, Aperture mug and most of all... Companion Cube plushie!!!!!

Posted this in the sale topic. Don't normally repost, but I figured now that things have settled down, some folks would appreciate the sentiment:

This sale has been so amazing. I've put five hours into Majesty so far this weekend (http://store.steampowered.com/app/25990/?snr=1_4_4__13), and it's been a ton of fun.

"Cool story bro," right? But then it dawned on me that after I'm finished with Majesty, I have its expansion to go through. And Majesty 2 to go through. And ITS 3 expansions. And then, after all that, I have Half-Life. And Deus Ex. And King's Bounty. And Darksiders. And SpaceChem. And Puzzle Agent. And Monkey Island.

...etc etc etc.


It's hard for me to articulate my exact point, here. I guess, like, my rational mind knew I was buying like 50+ games. I was completely aware of each and every purchase. But it was only just now, after putting some quality time into Majesty, that it dawned on me all the goodness I now have in front of me.

(Also Freedom Force, The Longest Journey, Oblivion modded to hell, X3, Quake Complete, Doom Complete, Hexen Complete...)
