All I can wonder is...

Those who doubted there would be a Summer Sale this year, what say your wallets now?

Even if they didn't buy anything for themselves, they still had to buy a $10 game for Stump.

I'm seriously considering selling my 360 and just buying games twice a year on Steam, plus in the occasional sale in between on other sites. I just don't see the point in owning the thing anymore.

I would if it wasn't for Halo.

Thanks for the whispered world recommendation.
This has my whole family engaged in a game more than kinect could ever try to.
Absolutely stunning game.
Also I spent over £200 and now have enough games to outlast me past even the next generation of consoles. I think the PS5 will be my next console.

Wish I hadn't bought the new Section 8. There isn't a soul playing it. Completely forgot it was a GFWL game until it was installing Live.

That fast? wao...I thought about buying this game, but forget at the end

You'll keep your console for a mediocre fps and not for the plethora of other good games on the 360?

Well, Unreal 2k4/3 are ghost towns so that's pretty much the defacto choice now for the genre.

PS3 and 360 have *just* enough exclusives for me to justify keeping them. I buy maybe 4-5 games a year for each.

Wow what a week.
~$150 all told.

Assassin's Creed 2
Caster
Hoard
Dreamfall + The Longest Journey
Sam & Max 1,2,3
Fallout NV: all dlc
Transformers
PoP: forgotten sands
The Tiny Bang Story
F1 2010
Test Drive Unlimited 2
Drakensang - River of Time
Eschalon: Book 1
Eschalon: Book 2
Neverwinter Nights 2 Diamond
Two Worlds II
Command and Conquer 3
Bullet Candy
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
Frozen Synapse
The Maw + all dlc
The Oddboxx
Terraria
Universe Sandbox

I'm good. Worst purchases are Caster, Bullet Candy and F1 2010.
F1 is very, very good but ... I realized I don't like F1 racing. Total impulse buy.
Best purchase was definitely Eschalon: Book 1.

The only game I'm actually playing is Eschalon. SO GOOD.

OH and LocoMrPollock gifted me a copy of Avadon: The Black Fortress out of freakin' nowhere. Thanks again!

I thought that the single player of Section 8: Prejudice was decent.

Only regrets from the sale are:

The Wonderful End of The World

Only because I finished The Wonderful End of The World in one sitting because of the achievement, so now what? It was fun, yes, but kinda not much left to do. Time attacks I guess. I'm done with it I think. I played it to completion... that's okay then.

Consoles are worth it for particular franchises, or if you like 3rd person games which often skip PC (like RDR, Castlevania, Enslaved, LA Noire etc) or just quick fun games like XBLA or Kinect/Move things. But I think at this point having both PS3 and 360 is a bit redundant.

I didn't even try it. Is it an actual campaign or like bot matches?
actual campaign with scripted events. It's not Halo quality but it is definitely worth playing.

edit: did they give out the prizes yet?

Just wanted to jump in here to say Drakensang: The River of Time is FANTASTIC. So worth the $9.99 I paid for it. If you are a fan of RPG's in any way, do yourself a favor and pick this up on the next sale.

Oh, good to hear. I haven't gotten around to trying it yet. Is it better than the first one?

I have both because Sony has the best retail exclusives and M$ (XBLA) has the best downloadable exclusives. Honestly, I re-purchased a 360 after my last one died about 6 months later because the sequel to The Dishwasher came out. A $150 console (or whatever it was) for a $10 game. *sighs* At least Gears 3 is coming out this Fall.

Yes. absolutely. Though I've only played a few hours so far, it's still holding my interest far more already.

Is that the second game? I thought it never got localized....

Anyway, I hated the first. Terrible camera made it unplayable, IMO.

Not only did it get localized, but the voice acting is done extremely well. As far as the camera is concerned, at it's default settings it may be a little "loose" but it can be adjusted to perfection with a simple slider tweak in the options. I have no problem with the camera at all.

I can't find the New Vegas DLCs

Where are they on the map? Or do I have to beat the main story first or something?

when i started the game after dl the DLC it had 2 quests pop up in my Journal, and 2 radio stations.

I'll keep my PS3, but the 360 could be half of a new CPU next year.

Hey, I'm not getting any emails from Steam anymore, does anyone else have this problem? My email is still set to mine, so it's not like my account got hacked. But no receits, no login codes, I don't receive any of these.
