Deadly shadows suffered in the same way Invisible War did. Piss poor amounts of RAM in the original Xbox means the levels are all tiny or broken into a half-dozen pieces. Still good, though. I had to do a little bit of wankery to get it to run properly without crashing between missions. One of the widescreen mod tools has functionality to fix it, I believe. Not super hard to get around, but be advised.
I got Just Cause 2 with my GTX460 last year and I was pretty impressed by the visuals. It must do some black magic with its engine or I was just that seriously behind on the times in graphics card muscle. Draw distance like woah. Fun game, too. Enjoy it, everybody.
Also, sorry to hear about the canning, Salsa. What kind of horrible human have you been to deserve such karma?

it really isnt THAT big of a deal or otherwise i wouldnt make a joke about it. It was a shitty job, but it definetly came in handy. Thankfully its my last year at film school so ill just have to work something out to pay for these last upcoming months (can always get a loan or help from family). Other than that it was just money to blow (on Steam, for example, heh). Nothing that will seriously affect my living in any harsh way or anything.
I was also looking into upgrading my PC for the upcoming beasts but i guess that's gone now, shiet
Starting job search tomorrow i guess!

Whats the best way to find and download tracks for the game. I went through the online portion in the game but it seems very confusing.
I googled around a bit and found this map pack (only stadium tracks). It's legit. It self installs to your ..\My documents\trackmania\tracks\challenges\downloaded folder. Once installed start up TM, click Solo Play and click the Browse button at the bottom left.Hanzou said:

It doesn't hurt that the game is gorgeous imo. I have to force myself to lay off the F12 a bit.

It's got some fillrate issues with the shadows. That gets really annoying on newer ATI cards (relative to the release of the game). At least on my HD5770. There are sections in there where the framerate drops to like 2 Hertz, it's kinda crazy.purg3 said:
