Not good enough, you need to be able to set price limits on titles and when price fall below them Steam will automatically buy the games for you.
Steamprices.com has this feature where you can add games on Steam to a wishlist (it uses its own wishlist system unfortunately, instead of pulling it off Steam API), set a price threshold, and it will e-mail you if the game's price drops to the threshold you specified.
Edit: Actually, I just realized that there is an import wishlist feature. No idea if it only imports the state of the wishlist at the time, or if it also keeps it up to date as well though.

Am I the only one who believes that EA is keeping their games off of Steam until initial sales (those who will pay full price, or near it) have subsided? The only reason Bulletstorm and Crysis stayed on Steam was because they'd been out for awhile, and Bulletstorm didn't sell well anyway, so EA needed all the outlets they could to make money. They keep BF3 and Crysis 2 off, though, and then after 15 months (or whatever it was, 12 maybe) Crysis 2 shows up again, making the sales it wouldn't have made had it not been on Steam the entire time...
...or am I missing this EA vs. Steam thing completely? I know EA wants to make people get Origin, so they force you to do so by tying it to BF3, but beyond that... what else is there?
