I restart Steam 2 times one with "run as administrator", i restart my PC, a lot of things and nothing

Have you tried a different download location?

not sure about steam but i had to download it manually with my origin version

Is there a way to turn off notifications for group events? Or just leave the offending group?
*edit* Ah I got what you mean, you never find out about the event. That doesn't really surprise me which is why I'd probably prefer more adventure-focused games than survival or horror.

The Crysis 2 Maximum Edition (which is the only version that's on Steam now) includes the DX11 and HiRes upgrades.
