I'm not surprised.

Does Steam have a "save anytime" feature? I am trying to play Tomb Raider 2 on my PS3 but it is very hard. On the HD TV a lot of the textures are quite blurry leading to me misjudging jumps and dying. Since there are save points that will often put me back 15 minutes or so. I was wondering if I get the Steam version if I can just save when I want to.
It has nothing to do with Steam and everything to do with the game in question. Most PC games have Quicksave functionality, but I can't speak to Tomb Raider 2.
First one had this feature, can't think why the second wouldn't.
Console versions had weird save crystals, glorious PC master race didn't need to deal with that crud though.
A couple of Steam keys, please be so kind to tell what you're taking

Alan Wake
Capsized
Renegade Ops
Renegade Ops: Coldstrike (DLC)
Renegade Ops: Reinforcement (DLC)
Sherlock Holmes VS Jack the Ripper
Someone took Sherlock Holmes without commenting.
I redeemed Renegade Ops DLCs (had the main game already).
Keys for:
Hard Reset
Fieldrunners
Waveform
Offspring Fling!
I can confirm there are no save crystals in the PC versions of every Tomb Raider game of the past, you can save wherever and whenever you want.Thanks. Maybe it doesn't have the stupid save crystals. I didn't even think of that. I will Google it.
Seriously, play it. As far as arcade type fps go only had as much fun with Painkiller. Adding to this it looks absolutly stuning in some places, prove that you don't need colosal budgets for amazing looking games.thanks for hard reset !

For real?
I heard mixed comments about hard reset. Too bad I missed the key, gonna wait till summer sale to try it out.

It has a demo. Play that and you've played the whole game.
I have like 40 games or so to give away from the last 2 years of buying bundles... I'm just so lazy to figure out keys I've used and haven't used. Is there a simple way for me to test them out? I don't want to look like an ass. I guess I could put a forewarning and put a list up.

Hard Reset is definitely worth a go, really fun game. Not as good as Painkiller but still well worth playing.
Why is Baldur's gate EE so goddamn expensive? Are they make that much money from this?
Agreed. But it is also really, really hard (or my FPS skills have declined since the late 90's which is also possible). And to this day I still do not get the story with all the crazy talk during the loading screens, and the Extended Edition did not help me much in this regard.Hard Reset is definitely worth a go, really fun game. Xelios just gifted me a copy of Dust out of the blue. Really nice of him. Thanks dude!
Thread carefuly. The game starts getting in to the "flow" when you have some upgrades down the line. Plus the least interesting level is, as far as my opinion goes, the first one.For real?

Hard Reset is incredible. I personally would rank it up higher than Painkiller but honestly haven't played either game in a good while.
Anyone comment on Hard Reset free DLC? Do I have to play through the game again to access it or is it stand alone stuff?
It's separate so you don't have to play through the game again. Definitely worth checking out. The levels are pretty damn gorgeous and it's only another 2-3 hours worth of gameplay so it's not a big commitment.
It continues the story after the abrupt ending of the game after the second boss. Takes place outside of the cyberpunk city though so it looks more like Mad Max rather than Bladerunner.
I'm looking at the Get Loaded bundle. I've never played a Civ game; I've only ever played Alpha Centauri.
Should I get Civ IV: Complete or Civ V?
That's a tough call. Civ IV is still the king but Civ V has made a lot of strides with the Gods and Kings Expansion.
If you get Civ V make sure to grab Gods and Kings with it.
Civ 4 Beyond The Sword expansion has a tile set and scenario similar to Alpha Centurai IIRC.
So did Hard Reset acomplished it's goals? In the sense are the devs happy with the sales, will they continue the franchise or at least give a new proyect greenlight?
