Oh rock of ages, do not crumble, love is breathing still. Oh lady moon shine down, a little people magic if you will.
Harvey's New Eyes looks so cute, but it's a point & click adventure with some really dark comedy. Intro's great, I'm no Daedalic fan but I do like that they put some songs in they're games.
Reminds me, I haven't played it all that much. I should do that someday.

Have fun, wetflame. :)

I intend to! Thanks JaseC. Yeah it's looked good from what I've seen and I enjoy point & click adventures so am looking forward to it.

Another case of inconsistent naming -.-

Started playing spacechem, that game melts my brain. Fun though, could see myself coming back to it for a puzzle or two, then quiting for a day out of frustration. On the plus-side I went and played Magic:DOTPW's after that and the challenges seemed super easy in comparison (finished all of 2011, now working on 2012).

This is awesome. So very few games manage to claw their way back it's always a good thing to see those that manage to do so. Gives me hope that other games will make their way back.

Also I posted a short review for Sins of a solar empire trinity on steam as I was requested by Sajjaja, thought I may aswell add it here :):

Sins of a Solar empire is a 4X RTS. It is kinda hectic when you first get into it as you don't have turns to plan out your moves like you do in gal-civ. So you're doing all you planet management / scouting / and army building in real time. Theres no campaign but they have a pretty brutal AI. The start of matches usually starts as a huge planet grab, and then amasing enough army/tech to take out your opponents planets, which is the long tail of the game, as once fortified planets are really hard to take. The visuals are pretty great, but you tend to play at a zoomed out icon level like supreme commander, so you really don't get to appreciate them much. Not completely sure what the expansions add. Haven't played online in a few years, although I suspect by now most people are playing rebellion (latest expansion not included in this) and are super awesome at the game. I say if you can get it for sub-$10 (got it with a 66% off voucher) its totally worth a try if you like RTS or 4X games. My one complaint would be fighting can get a little cat and mouse at time as the AI tends to phase from system to system if its outmatched. This can make finishing the game a hassle, as they'll do hit and run attacks on your fleets while you're trying to take their final planet, which is very frustrating. I give it 4 space butterflies out 5.

Apologies for the run on sentences and generally sloppy writing, its 1 am here and I'm not that poetic at the best of times. Hopefully it helps people decide if its worth it. Its currently $9.99 at Gamersgate, or about $7 on steam if you can snag a 66% off voucher from someone. Or you can get the latest stand alone expansion Rebellion for $19.99 from Gamersgate (although it will probably be cheaper during the summer sale).

Special note: This review is only based on what I can remember of the base game as I've owned it on dvd since it was released. I have only recently bought trinity on steam and haven't had the chance to play it much. So I'm not certain on what the expansions add or if the cat and mouse issue has been addressed.

Achievements for Shadow Warrior Classic Redux, so there will be a version of the original game with extras, like Duke 3D Megaton Edition.

gave away the keys to the kingdom.
I wonder how many people scored a key for SWC. The generator dried up pretty quickly, so the "real" version has to be among the rarest titles on Steam since the game was permanently made F2P shortly after the snafu.

They even called us hackers for getting a key :/

I have a key that I forgot about but it says "invalid key" now when I try :(

Awesome. Thanks. Been contemplating getting this game for a while and I'll probably pick up rebellion during the summer sale.

Yeah, I remember another person encountered the same issue. Devolver apparently killed the unused keys but allowed those who had redeemed one to keep the game.

I think that was just poorly worded on Devolver's part. I took it to mean somebody hacked the server/Facebook account and put the key generator online early (something I'm not inclined to believe).

I found it odd that more keys weren't sourced and instead the decision was made to make the game F2P. Now you have a few people with SWC permanently tied to their account while others lose the library entry upon uninstallation.

What an awesome Father's Day.
My wife and kids gave me The Last of US for PS3 and importantly to this thread, a Steam Wallet code just in time for the summer sale.
