Minding my own business playing Dota 2 when I get a friend request. I figure it's regarding a trade or something, but instead I get something much better:

I love your nick, it's like you were mocking him before he even started.

LOL BULLSHIT NO PROFIT. Proof?

KOF: 7 keys 5 ref.
8 Keys = ~17.2$ on Community Market.

You are selling for 18$, which leads you to not only a 80c profit per game PLUS a ref.

For every 6 games you sell, You make a pure 4.8$ profit plus an extra 6 ref (1 tf2 key) which puts you at around 6.7$ profit.

That brings you to around 1.11$ profit per game sold. If you sold 30 games in the past week thats 33$ profit you made.

To be honest... who the fuck cares? The work (no matter how small) involved in getting the games from some Russian guy and presenting the buyer with an easier buying experience is surely worth one damn dollar.

Retailing for $30? I'm ok with this.

I have no issues with resellers, I resold some ETS2 copies myself during the summer sale when dunder ran out. I have issues when people claim that they are selling it out of the goodness of their heart to make it easier on gaffers and say they make no profit per sale.

Why do these scrubs think they can scam people with >500 games on Steam?

im almost at 800 games and I still get people from time to time who are all 'GOT A GREAT DEAL ILL GIVE YOU ALL THESE GAMES* FOR JUST THIS $15 ONE'

*humble bundle keys

like how do they think I got to that number, why dont they at least check

Greed trumps sense.

I see that "SomeFriendlyGuy" is no longer on Xelios's friend list, so I'm gonna to have to assume he tried to mooch a game off of him like he did with me.

Are these guys scouring this Steam thread to try to find "marks" or something?

Courtesy of reddit:
iBomber Attack - 60% Off - $2.39
iBomber Defense - 60% Off - $1.99
iBomber Defense Pacific - 60% Off - $1.99

Haven't played a bunch of those, but the iBomber games are quite skippable. Maybe if you don't have any other games to play, but I like TD games (put 60+ hours into Defense Grid), and they couldn't hold my interest for much more than 30 minutes.

1) You guys need to stop talking about keys.

2) You guys need to stop accepting random Steam invites.

When that Metro Last Light BB price mistake happened I had a dude message me saying "Hey yo, I got a SWEET deal for you. Metro Last Light for $35! SICK DEAL SON!" ... lol Even funnier since the game is on my main profile page xD

Keys... Keys, EVERYWHERE!

Strictly speaking, random Steam invites from people who are members of the GAF group are usually fairly safe. And random invites from people who are non-Russians and not members of TF2 Output / Dota trade groups are somewhat 50-50.

I had a random guy add me while I was playing Dust: AET to ask me to trade one of the Dust cards I was selling on the market for some other card in his inventory because for some reason he couldn't buy them.

I thought it was cool that he asked, so I gave him the card.

Yep. Told me it was his birthday and he really likes Gmod, and was just super weird in general so I bid him a frendly farewell.

I don't keep anything I make, do you understand that or not? I buy the games for the cost I list from my seller, If I make enough sales I get a free game, if a game is 11$ I charge 6 keys and refund 3 ref but most games are flat keys, hense why I charge normally in numerals of 2. Making false claims that I am profiting off this is not true

Step #2: Go to http://rash.p.ht/ and type that url in there to check the price of the game in tf2 keys. Get the permalink for your order.
It comes out to 17.15$ on community market price.

There is something I do not get: if I choose the currency "WMZ / Paypal" instead of keys, it is $16 (everytime, it is $2 more expensive than DH Store), so he sells cheaper for Paypal than for keys.

There is something I do not get: if I choose the currency "WMZ / Paypal", it is $16. Basically, this guy sells 15% more expensive than Dunder.

because he sells for profit or if you listen to liezryou, a shark, dunder doesn't. This is just a average trader from steamtrades. You won't find people like Dunder anywhere

looking for 2 more ppl for PAYDAY 2 Career Criminal Edition 4-Pack... i'm willing to host

it is $37.5 + paypal fees for each person

none of my friends want :(

Just finished Sam and Max season 3 and I'm sad because we probably won't get season 4 in a near or distant future now that Telltale is working on TWD season 2 and Fables.
Guess I'll try to get Hit the Road when I can.

Playing this game made me realize that there ain't really a lot of funny games out there (and when I mean funny I mean that make you laugh). Just my opinion of course.

this new bootleg dunder gets pissed pretty easily

not ready for the tough black market world

Too edgy, this full time trading stuff is hard. Paypal pisses me off, defaults all money to CAD, so when I did a big order I had to spend nearly 5$ of my own money for no reason.

You know you can use different currencies with the same paypal account, right?

For some reason its acting weird, like just an hour ago an italian sent me 11$ USD, comes as 11.04 CAD, I send it to my seller, but it says its only 10.48 USD, this isn't the regular fee either :S

You do not need to convert from USD to CAD and back from CAD to USD. You can have two balances, one in USD and one in CAD, at the same time.

I'm still not getting why people are getting mad at the idea that someone'd perhaps want make a profit in the key game.

Don't want to do the work of all the trading, pay the extra dollar or couple to have it done for you. Everyone still comes out winning.

Wow man a whole $33 now he can pay off that mortgage of his.

Bunch of commie socialists in this thread, that's why.

Behold the reason Valve removed /Me.

Though I guess if you fall for this bad spelling you deserve it.

How is the emp rifle in SS2? I'd need to get from 4 to 6 in energy to use it, but I'm primarily an energy weapons guy anyway. My trusty laser sword replaced my 'Wrench O' 1000 Kills'

Note to self: this guy knows a lot. Don't try to scam him.

It makes Steam amusing. Actually had someone randomly add me just to give me a Steam game for free. Never hurts.
Hey, you look like a fun person! Wanna be Steam friends?

Oh, what's that? You have Ricochet 2 on your inventory? You know, I am the biggest fan ever of the first game, so I'm dyin to play it... Sadly, all I can give you is this cool "I gave away Ricochet 2 and all I got was this stupid T-shirt" T-shirt. So, what say you? You in?

Note to self: English not broken enough. Need further practice.
