don't ask me for codes
Nitpick, but that's not all of them. I remember there being several more with names like Duke!Zone and Duke!Xtreme. They might not have been officially licensed by 3DR though. Wonder who owns the rights to them now.

Those are not commercial campaigns/add-ons/total-coversions, but merely collections of community-made stuff; mostly single maps. At least one of them had the decency to send me a free copy for using my maps.

Right now I'm more inclined to make fun of you for Tomb Raider than angry birds. At least that game knows what it is and doesn't try to pretend to be anything else.

What was Tomb Raider pretending to be? If it was pretending to be a damn good game, then it sure fooled me.

Playing
Borderlands 2
Devil May Cry 4
Deus Ex: HR
Dark Souls

Currently playing:

Wishlist:
For it to be tomorrow so that I'll be finished with school forever AND have my 144hz monitor come in the mail so that I can complete my new gaming PC and play through my pretty big backlog of games I've been waiting for a new PC to play. :D

Playing:

American Nightmare
X-Com
Sonic Generations (Just need the final boss)
Sonic All-Star Racing Transformed
I would love to play Dark Souls if I could finally get this controller issue sorted out.

Once I'm done with a few I'll go back to VTM:B, and Ys Origins.

Wishlist:

Metro: The Last Light.

I haven't updated in awhile, though I'm interested in a lot of these games found in the register. I guess I could add RE6 and Bioshock Infinite.

The boats are slow to respond to turns by nature, but if the planes and cars lag too, then yeah. I'm almost certain I play with v-sync off and I didn't notice any tearing, so I'd give that a shot.

But yeah, seconding that it's a fantastic game. I dumped so many hours into that. I'm a bit burnt out now after 30 hours or something, but hopefully I'll get a second wind because it really is a blast (and I want all the stars).

Yeah the boats are slower but are even slower with the lag :p

Tried v-sync off, lag is nowhere to be seen but I get some uuuuugly tearing. Oh well.

First I've ever heard/seen this complaint before

Honestly it's in a ton of these kart racers, except for Mario Kart. That's one of the reasons Mario Kart "feels better" for a lot of people. Maybe that's why people dont notice it. There is ALWAYS input lag with v-sync, it's an objective complaint, the subjective part is wether you can deal with it/notice it or not.

It's totally managable to be honest, considering that most turns are done with the bumpers anyway thanks to the drift, but still annoying. It's specially difficult when trying to get your bearings back after being hit with something.

I'll deal, it's playable and the fan service and tracks are super fun.

Okay, fun game - I'm in:

Playing (?):
- Dishonored
- Crusader Kings II

Wishlist:
- Don't Starve
- XCOM: Enemy Unknown
- BioShock Infinite
- Tomb Raider
- FTL

Although, in true SteamGAF fashion, I reserve the right to use the term 'playing' loosely. There just aren't enough hours in the day to read what you lot have to say and play games.

See y'all in Steam Community.

Also I'm glad Steam Early Access exists purely so games with that business model exist in their own sphere. I feel like a few too many unfinished games were popping up on the store, honestly. I'm 100% cool with that model through publisher/developer specific channels but once it started bleeding into storefronts next to finished products it felt more like an excuse to skip crucial steps.

You could try downsampling to see if it helps lower the framerate.

Im already downsampling and getting constant 60

first (actually third) world problems my PC is too good

even if you lock the framerate at 60 with v-sync off you're bound to get tearing

(also I dont want lower framerate)

Tried triple buffering with D3dOverrider?

Tried triple buffering with D3dOverrider?

yup same thing

I always see d3dOverrider posted as a solution for v-sync lag but honestly it's kinda always the same as in-game

im still rolling with that instead of the in-game option just because, but yeah

I mean im checking both the v-sync and triple buffering box, but I guess that's what you have to do

The joys of owning a 120hz monitor. I can fuck off vsync and it next to never causes any tearing.

Salsa when are you going to learn to use the shift key?

holy shit you just made me realize that everyone starts their posts with a capital letter what the fuck mindblown

stop being so grammatically correct people cmonsss

you dont want to know how much a 120hz monitor costs around here

and with a single 680 is not really justifiable. Would be barely able to reach 80+ fps on games
