If you buy as a gift the BTA IndieGala deal, you'll get a second copy of the Gala for free (with the BTA specials), so you would get two copies of every game. If you already bought the bundle with the BTA before now, and buy it now, you'll get three copies (as in, when you buy it now you'll get 3 copies now, on-top of the 1 you bought before, making you have 4 copies of each game).
But to qualify, you need to press the 'Purchase as a Gift' option, but you can still redeem them as you can send it as a gift to your email.
The most important thing is it means you can get the full bundle for ~$2-3 from someone who organizes a group buy.

Because that 'running away' bit at the start of 1 was asinine. "Run away from these guys, but stick exactly to the path we've decided on (which we don't tell you), or you get instakilled" is not fun.

I don't remember any fixed paths for missions that didn't require tailing someone. Don't hold me to that though, I could have pushed it to the back of my mind.

Is there a page w a list of all games that have cloud saves? On my phone so i cant use the client but im curious what games i can install on my laptop without being disappointed
It was reaaaally early, where you're done driving and these mob guys show up and start roughing you up and chasing you, shooting at you. You have to make your way to the little shop the 'good' mob guys operate out of, but you can't just go there, you have to pick the right back alley and then pick the right other alleys, climbing over walls and stuff.
If you don't pick the right one, you get shot every time. It was horrible.

Not really: it's literally just a matter of telling Steam what files to back up and where they're located.
Oh I remember it in the first game. I meant, the second game didn't have any such missions that I remember.

Haha, well, it would be relatively easy to go through SteamDB's list and check the raw User Cloud data to ascertain which games back up saves, but with almost 600 apps to comb through it'd still be a ton of work.

The only graphical mod you need is DSFix. The UI & Subtitle fix is one of the few things I actually use for DS (make sure you enable texture override in the dsfix ini) http://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls/mods/21/
Make sure you unlock the FPS and give 60 a try. It's easy to toggle between 60 and 30 in-game with the Backspace button (necessary if you're trying to make a few tight jumps).

Ok. It was just that seeing super hi-res cool screens I assumed there was additional stuff involved (like SweetFX or Hi-res Textures).
So, having DSfix in place, I'm gonna ask you what exactly should I enable to maximize everything.
Like, I launched it and I still got LOTS of blurring. I guess that backgrounds blurs are as intended, but it also seemed kinda blurry on the character model when I positioned the camera below him.
Anyway, the problem is that I actually don't really know what most of the stuff there means.
Like, if I want to try downsampling, I just have to multiply my screen res (1920x1200) and put it in the "display width/height" (so, like 3840x2400), while leaving 1920x1200 in "internal rendering res"?

OH MAN this game sure is something it's a weird FMV, 3D adventure game hybrid. That would be absolutely destroyed gameplay wise if it came out today. With that said I am enjoying it a lot. Actually bought all the Tex Murphy games off GOG after playing this a bit.

Also make sure to switch back to 30fps before sliding down ladders. If you do it at 60 sometime the game will warp you out of world.

I know many would disagree, but I think there are many enjoyable games out there, that are arguably terrible or mediocre games. I know its a bit controversial for me to say this, but I don't think gameplay is the most important part of the game, as there are games I and I know others love for elements that aren't the gameplay.

The bigger numbers are for your internal rendering res.
