the one thing I dont get about alpha protocol is people saying pistols are overpowered. was that patched in later or something? I played at launch and could not get past a certain boss simply because I didnt do any damage. Maybe it had to do with the difficulty setting being turned up?

The weekly sales and this bundle... Just dropped $35.
3079 is a nice take on the "Minecraft lawl" thing, but it's a first person shoother rpg-kinda. It's pretty cool. Except it likes to save the chunks of generated world as 4kb files on your hard drive. Last time I played the game, I ended up with more than 2000 files of 4kb each.
3089, on the other hand, is the sequel to it. It ditches the pixel-minecraft look and fixes the "save every chunk of the world on a 4kb file on your HD and waste millions of kbytes!", but I personally don't think it's as good as 3079. It's pretty similar.
I might buy this bundle even having those games. Everything else sounds a-ok.

Is there a way of getting souls in Skyrim that isn't tedious? I'm playing as a mage and it hurts my magicka reserves (and my patience) to cast Soul Trap before every encounter. Plus I seem to have no way of knowing what level soul I'd be getting either.

Doesn't do anything new?! Dusk, I ask you, find me the other third person shooter that allows me to blow an enemy's head off, not instantly killing it in the process, but turning it into a momentary ally. Or another one that lets me profess my love for squadmates through the mic and have them acknowledge it.

It's a great concept, has great writing, but ganky as hell gameplay and quite buggy.
It's worth a shot at that price if curious, a very flawed gem.
