Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
Gabe's "real" AMA still isn't online. We all have questions!!!

Though I've been reading through what's being submitted to the locked thread, and it doesn't look like the questions will be all that great, honestly.

Just a short and sweet raffle with my horror love goodness. I don't know how the game is yet, just got it myself, but plan to play it in the near future and will leave some impressions here.

So a little birdie told to few of us in a steamgaf chat that Gabe's going to announce something during his AMA related to keywords defunct service and cloud.
Wonder if there's any truth behind it, seeing as Steam is being moved to Akamai CDN, it might as well be.

That is why people agree to do AMAs, they know that dumb and useless questions will trump the useful ones that they won't answer.

That's why the AMA format is flawed. Stop asking something the person has talked about before at length; stop asking the 'tips for starting a career' stuff.

Would be willing to take a high definition camera around filming me flipping the bird to my current employer to make this happen.

here's the thing guys. half life 3 isn't happening until oculus or that steam VR thing is ready. it's the only way it's going to live up to the hype.

If half life 3 were released any time before that at best it might be a bioshock infinite style shooting gallery.

Maybe with Valve trying to expand Steamworks to non-Steam store games, they finally don't want to foot the bill for game download bandwidth?

Dissapointed with Vanguard Princess

The game base is awesome, but the game truly feels like the freeware version put on the steam store. No steam overlay, online, achievements, or anything like that

I'm kind of worried about what that might mean for download speeds, if it happens. :s

Not a problem. I'm working on yet another update for Opera that should fix a few more problems and add a few more features. Stay tuned.
