Lord JaseC, the first!

What say you about Dark Souls 2 and region locking?

There are some rather cheap keys on those shady cd key sites that are not to be mentioned here and was wondering if I should be worried about the region locking!

I know I can get in trouble using those sites, the question is just for the sake of the actual region locking!

The Stick That Came to Be the Truth is the perfect game for South Park fans. It's positively littered with references, old and new, obscure and obvious; that the actual RPG component of it is quite solid, if somewhat lacking in difficulty, is just the icing on the already scrumptious cake. As I said earlier, I've yet to use the fast travel system and probably never will because just running around South Park is fantastic in itself, even if you're retreading ground.

I havn't watched the show in years, but I can't wait to pick this up
over a sale

Now that Far Cry 3 is done, time to jump into XCOM Declassified. Let's see if it's really as bad as Turf led on.

I can't let a Declassified mention go without my vouching for it. The game is good despite having a stupid story.

It just released at the wrong time due to development hell. Had it come out in say 2010 minds would have been blown.

An update about the games I've been playing:

Guacamelee: I believe I must be at the end because I already defeated Calaca's subordinates and got all the abilities from the Chozo statues, so I focusing in finishing side-quests or getting chests that I missed in previous areas, besides it I'm also searching
the orbs and only need two more
.

Toki Tori 2+: This one I mostly play with my young brother, when he get stuck in some part I try to solve the puzzle and let him keep playing until he's stuck again. I really like how you discover new ways to interact and solve puzzles using only the two abilities you already since the game begin.

KOTOR II: Yesterday I finished the quest of getting the Ebon Hawk and leaving Peragus II. I choose to
explode the asteroids
while fleeing from the Harbinger, this was the same decision I made in my previous game and IIRC
it will have some consequences later and I'll be judged in Telos(?).
I still maintain my main critic regarding that first part, there are too many battles.

Namco PR has confirmed the rumored April 25th date for Dark Souls 2 PC. Black Armor bonuses (in digital format obviously) for Steam pre-orders.

Hopefully the page goes up soon.

I'm looking forward to it. I'd be more looking forward to it if it was actually the FPS that The Bureau was supposed to be, but still...

annnd wishlisted.

Holding out for that summer sale on Dark Souls 2. Only because I won't be home to play it. So I might as well save some money on it.

I have barely started Demon's Souls, haven't even touched Dark Souls. DS2 wishlisted anyway.

I'm also loving every minute of The Stick of Truth, it's truly amazing especially if you know and enjoy the show.

Christ, Arkham Origins is 34GB installed with all the DLC.
That's interesting, the only DLC I don't have is the Black Mask Challenge Pack and my install is 24GB.

(TR 2013 review)
Impressive, I actually agree with a lot of the things you said, except maybe the secret tombs because they were just too easy, I would've liked them if they posed some challenge (compared to the rest of the game)... I guess that's my main problem with the game besides the huge amount of torture porn, it felt like most of it was just on autopilot. Yes, a problem shared with the Uncharted series, but at least those neither did pretend to be anything else nor took themselves seriously.
Regarding the Big foes, at least unlike other similar games you had another more effective option to take them down (the dodge instakill mechanic upgrade)

I need to start playing the first one sometime soon. Have they announced what they are going to do with GFWL for Darks Souls 1 yet?

There were some changes in the steam database this week that could point to the steamworks implementation. Nothing official yet.

I've already made my chart plan to play the 'Series'.

Shadow Tower (which I know many may not agree with me, but I view as being the predecessor to Demon Souls that the studio did beforehand) > Shadow Tower: Abyss > Demon Souls > Dark Souls > Dark Souls II

It's a series I need to play and think I'll love, but need to take the plunge at some point. I do need to secure a copy of Demon Souls, though.

That's dissapointing. Although, more chance of Nuuvem purchase with lower price?

That would be great if they switched to steamworks. I'm really hoping they don't just patch out GFWL and all the online features without re-implementing them. If they switched to steamworks, would old saves no longer be compatible? I don't want to start the game and then have to start over.

Now Steampowered just needs to compare price between those regions and tell us which one is the cheapest.

Mine will probably still be the cheapest one.

So that's why they were so secretive. More than a month away from the consoles launch. Welp.

On that note, I managed to get past the asshole sniper knights in Anor Londo last week. I'm at Ornstein/Smough now.

You still haven't seen the worse of the game yet, lol.
