Everyone definitely needs to own the classic Deus Ex and Thief games. They're mandatory Steam purchases.

Defender's Quest --MB-4D3FEFE337656A57- Taken by oipic
Looks like I'm going to get:
Deus Ex: GOTY edition
Thief II (I have not played the first but it's in my account)
Hitman Blood Money
Tomb Raider Anniversary
FF VII and VIII will get cheaper and Last Remnant I heard was awful, plus I mostly hate JRPGs. If there's anything else I should grab, let me know!
Creating a Steam account should cost $5 and a copy of Deus Ex should come with it. And you shouldn't be allowed to buy anything else until you finish the game.Everyone definitely needs to own the classic Deus Ex and Thief games. They're mandatory Steam purchases.
Oh damn my friend who loves metroidvanias is going to have to hit up my copy over family sharing.just played hour and half of Mirror of Fate HD, its awesome, I would say I wish I played it back then on the 3ds, but the performance would probably have ruined it. Really liking it, and I feel like I barely scratched the surface yet. I wonder how long it is. I keep running into a million areas I cant access yet and its messing with my ocd lol, damn metroidvanias

I'm guessing you already have DX: HR?
It hasn't been a whole day and the prices on Magical Diary cards are plummeting to the bottom. Why does the Steam Community actively kill the trading card market?
Do I really need a 500gb SSD or is it fine with a 256 one to start with?
Will use it as a C: (OS & programs) + maybe some selected games
You heard wrong. ; ) If you don't like the genre, you won't like TLR, but it's a good game for JRPG fans.

I agree. If anything, enjoyment of The Last Remnant hinges on loving the battle system / party tweaking. I really enjoyed it, personally, especially hemming and hawing over union composition.

what speed are you actually getting?
hey everyone LOG OFF steam, im gonna download a game
You guys know that Origin download speeds are fake, right?
what speed are you actually getting?
going by the actual progress bar it seems legit to be honest. I can confirm im downloading 50 gigs and that it started minutes ago.
I can testify; I get much improved speeds on my college network with origin as opposed to steam.

I know there were talks of that, but this has happened before and unless they are faking game size and actual real time then idk what to tell ya. It's way faster than Steam
how can you confirm you're downloading 50 gigs?
I think it's been proven that (similar to Steam) Origin compresses it's games for download. Then decompresses them locally to full size.
However, while Steam shows you the actual download size / speed, Origin shows you the progress of the combined download/unpack operation as MB/s.
how do you know?
But you can't trust the numbers, I'm getting speeds far beyond the capabilities of my provider.
Shit, glad I held off on the bundle.

However, while Steam shows you the actual download size / speed, Origin shows you the progress of the combined download/unpack operation as MB/s. Sure, it's the speed it's arriving on your disk, but it's definitely not the speed it's actually downloading the game's files.
It's not as extreme, but Steam always does that to me whenever there's a bundle deal. It's always like 1% more expensive than buying the included bits separately. Is that a global thing or are the admins in my region smoking crack?
And if that's true, it would make a massive difference in download time for Titanfall, considering the uncompressed audio.I think it's been proven that (similar to Steam) Origin compresses it's games for download. Then decompresses them locally to full size.
Comes with all future dlc and add-ons. Also, it's $50 in Russialand.Gal Civ 3 EA is 92,99?! It has to be mistake...
