I recommend using the superarmor and supergun cheats. Makes the weakest part of the game (combat) go by extremely fast. I also uses the givexp and achievements cheats on the game+ to get to 60 (I did it on 360 clean and the last few levels are horrible)Eaten By A Grue said:The game content that comes deluxe edition sounds really sweet. I would like the soundtrack as well if it is anything like the first game's.
As another poster stated I regret playing through this game on the Xbox360 after playing the superior PC version. I am going to have to try and blaze through the original on PC so I can reuse my character.
It was $5 a week ago.eznark said:Kind of wish I had a complete PC ME save. Oh well, game was dope on 360 and I'll get it super cheap on PC eventually!

graywolf323 said:outta curiosity how do these cheats work? I've don't cheat much in games and the few times I have it involved console commands (and only in single player games)
some of the Jedi Outcast cheats were pretty awesome
I will be buying my notebook a quad-core, just for this.crimsonheadGCN said:

now how the heck do you install a new processor in a laptop? :-/

Generally you don't.graywolf323 said:now how the heck do you install a new processor in a laptop? :-/
I already have ME on the PC. I meant I'll get ME 2 cheap down the road.ElectricBlue187 said:It was $5 a week ago.

Never thought I'd see the day, but I guess Demigod's performance made them think twice about their distribution choices.crimsonheadGCN said:Huge news about Supreme Commander 2:

It seems like they removed Outrun after the sale.
Yeah, I was just looking for that yesterday.Tain said:How often are games removed from Steam?

BuddhaRockstar said:Here's something I don't understand about "deluxe versions"- Back at the end of last generation, they started doing PS2 and XBox deluxe editions for $60, these versions had soundtracks and dev commentary and making of videos and what not. If I remember right, which I might not, it seemed like the general consensus was that these "deluxe" features would become standard in next-gen games, justifying the standard $60 console game pricetag. Obviously that isn't the case and now we pay even more for those features, what gives?

Yeah I was just reading through the NBR forums and saw that your P-7805u isn't C2Q compatible.graywolf323 said:thankfully with Gateway you can pretty much upgrade everything in this laptop
edit: except the graphics card which is soldered to the motherboard
though I'm reading on some forums that it's not compatible with a quad-core after all
seems that if I can find it the P9700 is the best since it's 25W just like my current one but 2.8gHz and double the L2 cache

crimsonheadGCN said:Not too often. I think there's only like 2-3 games that have been removed from Steam.
Codename Gordon was removed from the store, but everyone can still download it with a special link that launches the Steam application. The reason why it was removed was because the company went out of business and the website that the game pointed to was taken over by a porn site.
The Movies was removed. Most likely due to Lionhead being bought out by Microsoft.
Stalin vs the Martians was pulled by the developer because they are going to do a re-release of the game sometime soon.
Those individuals who had purchases the last two games are still able to download them, but no one is able to buy.
Outrun might not be one of these games though. They could have simply ran out of keys and took it temporary down till they get more or something.

OK, after doing this I see the second CPU listed as core2, however I think I might have broken something as I am seeing 'core1 = 12%' and 'core2 = 10%'. How do I get both CPU's to 100% power, my power cable will not fit into the DVD tray?Truespeed said:Open the CD tray. Place the new CPU firmly in the middle and close the tray. Reboot and you should now see the 2nd CPU.

I don't disagree with that, but as graywolf said, it's kind like spitting in the customers face.crimsonheadGCN said:Eh, I bought it during the Holiday Sale and have no regrets. It was worth it for $9.99. The game is a blast to play in Coop and these sales greatly help the online community.

What I'm getting out of this post is that for the next 6 months we're going to get endless "just got Torch'ed" complaint posts.graywolf323 said:that's kinda a spit in the face of us who bought it during the holiday sale...

And then we'll get a 2010 version for whatever game does the discount dance to the 2010 sale.
Grr, I was wanting to not buy any more games this month, and I missed the Holiday deal anyway so this is a win win...dani_dc said:Weekend deal is up:
