I actually managed to figure it out - forgot to tick the "remember this computer" box when signing in. I like the new "sign in to Steam" mechanism, any chance of this being ported to IdleMaster? Or would it not be compatible with that?
You wot mate? I'm not even saying evilore doesn't have the right to forbid certain topics on his privately owned forum. He can, he's done so, and he will continue to to do so in the future. Its still censorship.
Talking about rom collections? Well I don't even know if that's banned or not, but I imagine there are swathes of old ass gamers on gaf who've bought their games and just want a place to continue to play their games on discontinued hardware. You would understand if you stopped being a condescending PCmustardrace. I personally have a bunch of games on the gba sp, and I do sometimes go back to fire emblem 7 for kicks.
Talking about banned games? I know of 2 banned games on gaf, one accused of being paedophilic, which it technically is not but I can see why people might be uncomfortable with it, and a game about killing innocents, which is kind of not really a big deal when you have GTA V releasing on PC soon, and that game has killing innocents in spades.
Am I happy about there being banned topics? No.
Does evilore have every right to ban said topics in his privately owned forum? Yes.
Do I have to happy about that? No.
And can I express my unhappiness? Yes.
Will me talking about this make a difference? Fuck no. I'm just a guy with a lewd elf avatar who posts anime gifs.
So get off your high horse. You're just another guy talking about the same topic and none of us has any real say in the matter.

It's certainly compatible, but due to the nature of "external programs interacting with Steam" and the nature of VAC I think it's best that the two programs remain separate. A lot of people consider Idle Master to be "cheating" and think Valve should ban it's use. I don't think anyone (so far, at least) is saying that about the spam filter app.
Jeez, a Stalker clone and a game that ripped off Kingdom Rush's logo. Steam feels like Desura/Google Play now.

Yes, if I remember correctly, you'll get the gear you had from Witcher 1, albeit severely nerfed. You won't be a godbeast regardless of what you do, though.

Yes, it's mostly dialogue differences outside of major changes in the third act though. Still, a lot of your actions are referenced so I found it satisfying enough. Interested to see how much the Witcher 3 changes given the huge variety of ways the second game can be ended.
Edit: And as mentioned you carry over gear and the gold you had left over.

So, I'd find an official thread to ask this in, but I do like to avoid plot spoilers, so I'll just float it here.
Are the two GTA IV expansions any better than the base game? As much as I had high hopes when I started out GTA IV, the repetitive missions are boring me to tears. I get that they were trying to dial it back and go for the really detailed city after doing SA, but the game itself just seems so dull once you look past all the neat little touches here and there. There doesn't seem to be anything to spend money on other than guns, and I'm just forcing myself to plow through the missions at this point, since it feels like I'm somewhat near the end.
