Yes, especially when the "staff" decide to take a totalitarian approach to "talking about certain topics" (piracy, personal mental status come outs, etc) not to mention "we aren't publicizing piracy homebrew or...Hatred", which honestly in a forum of what would seem like adults more or less is laughable and quite sad to see at the same time.

But I guess censoring people/topics by the initiation of force through a ban hammer is always a great idea to provide the foundation of the most diverse, and open-minded gaming community.

But, maybe I'm a minority in that I believe people should be free to say whatever the hell they want (although critique and discourse comes with that) without fear of reprisal or gated off section determined by a select few who decide "this is how we see it, so this is how it is". But that's just me.

If say for example the underwater sections take on a Monster Hunter Tri kind of vibe I could see how it could be good. That or get blindsided by a shark ala Far Cry 3.

My main fear is the creep of open world filler and jank that I don't think any open world game has escaped from. Red Dead Redemption had probably the most meaningful filler but man the glitches, whilst hilarious at times, were everywhere.

You could knock it out from scratch easily by the time III comes out. Then again you've got about 4 days until GTA V which is probably the more realistic obstacle.

Among other reasons, it comes down to money. We can't talk about piracy or post pornography because this forum is supported by advertisements. And it's always been like that. If you have such strong objections to this rules, I question why you're even here or why you don't join the myriad of other forums that allow such discussion.

No way! It's using Max Payne 3's engine which was very good on PC. Can't see them doing a shoddy PC version like GTA4 again. They did learn their lessons... I hope ;)

I do. Have been for years.

Many of which have, wait for it, warnings by staff to calm it down or apologize and even dispute resolution leading to bans in only the most grievous circumstances, which means almost never.

There's a reason why you're made to lurk for a while before becoming a member. They ask you to read a relatively small terms of service before joining. You pay absolutely nothing for the privilege to post here. It's not hard and most everyone figures it out.

I doubt we're missing out on the great luminaries of our time because they can't post their hentai in the open air.

A little bit, those in-your-face filler quests just get on your nerves after a while, mini map in DA:I was madness.

No Ghost Recon Expansions. Pass. Everyone should wait for Ubisoft to wise-up and Steam sale Ghost Recon and Island Thunder/Desert Seige. Or they put them up on GoG and FINALLY go on Sale.

Try playing the first game just to see if you can stomach the combat system, there are some really great detective like quests in the first game that's not there in the 2nd one.

Feels like the W1 was one of those games that you had to be there to enjoy. Its MMO quests, meh combat, and meandering plot really did nothing for me whereas W2 is like a top 5 game from last gen.

Geralt sleeps with anything that moves, the end.

Honestly, I think you can start 2 without playing 1 no problem, they recap stuff at the beginning of 2, and for the most part, the things you lose are an appreciation for the characters like Dandelion, Zoltan, Triss, etc. Gameplay in 2 is far superior, and the change in inventory management is a godsend.
