I use Metro for Steam so these changes don't really affect me much, think that also gets rid of the Big Picture button too.

I like to keep my client vanilla and I also don't use the beta. That big ugly button is literally the only real problem I have with the client. It's fine otherwise. Just give me an option I can uncheck in the settings. While we're at it, let me disable Big Picture altogether so I don't launch it everytime I want to check the battery of my 360 pad. It has no value to me.

Speaking of Big Picture. I've noticed something weird. If I open it by holding the guide button on my 360 controller, it opens underneath any windows I have open, but if I open it by clicking the button in Steam--or the taskbar list button or whatever, then it opens in focus like it should.

You really should. It is, unfortunately, hindered by some trial and error as you come to grips with the game's color management and farming systems, but the game's world is worth putting up with a few restarts to see more of.

I fear the day we receive a PM from ModBot with that title.

yeah i mean i first assumed it might be something like that but since it was so close to when i registered to ipl's thing, knowing them, i knew something was up

You really should. It is, unfortunately, hindered by some trial and error as you come to grips with the game's color management and farming systems, but the game's world is worth putting up with a few restarts to see more of.

tbh just use the easy mod. there's one that lowers it to 'normal' and i've played the game with and without the mod and it's not that different. you can still mess up pretty bad but you know it's a bit less brutal

you'll still be always short of resources

also remember to always draw the alpha spell with like longer "arms" than like the fat part. i dunno how to properly say it but learning that was the trick behind the dumb shape recognition was like major eureka moment

I thought all my problems were solved, got the python script running and... all i get is 'fetching id ### error'

Then I thought what if I could copy all of the icons that SAM downloads, unfortunately I can't find where SAM downloads the icons to so I couldn't test that out. If someone knows where SAM hides the icons it'd be much appreciated if you could let me know.

edit: I just noticed that the SAM icons look like low quality ones and probably wouldn't be any good for gridview.

The changes are minor and subtle but I can't say I like them, be it the blue gradient, the green play/install button or the players icons.
I wonder if there will be a way to keep it looking like it does now.

I would've liked the ability to completely get rid of games.

It's pretty easy now.

1. Register an account on the steam support page.
2. Post a ticket where you say you want to permanently remove games from your account, list the games you want to remove, and write that you understand that you will not get any money back.
3. It can take some time, but when they answer it should only be about them requesting confirmation to proceed.

I removed about 7 entries from my account just this week that way.
