Your post for some reason made me realize what SteamGAF makes me think of.

Those three are totally SteamGAF, but with a game hunting rather than alien hunting, and failing to play games more often than not rather than capture them.

ooh that doesn't sound good. I love the ability to mod the text and ui size in the infinity engine games, that would likely affect my opinion of a game too. Especially since I'd be more likely to just skip all the text and miss out on half the game because of it.

The in-game font isn't as bad as that screen was, but it's still not so great if you're picky about fonts like I am. I certainly hope there's a way to mod the font; I will look into it!

Also chixdiggit, I saw your post towards the end of the last thread and wanted to share my thoughts.

It looks like the steam-idle application isn't launching properly. I noticed that you have idle master installed to E:\Steam\ Is this your Steam installation folder? Or a folder in your Steam library? It's possible that, if it is, it's interfering with how steam-idle is executing. My only thought at the moment is try moving the Idle Master folder somewhere else and see if that works.

I'm playing Sunrider: First Arrival, I like the main idea of the game but some things are already annoying me, I can overlook the art being bland and uninspired but two characters that I already found in the beginning of the game are clearly inspired too much by Asuka and Rei .

Besides that minor annoyance I'm liking the combat so far, the plot seems taken from a generic space anime but I didn't started playing expecting anything spectacular. For some reason I did enjoy the spaceships and mechas animation, while they may look simple it kind of add a charm to the game.

So a question about Gods Among Us. I have seen some comments on here regarding the game and I watched a video of someone playing it recently and I'm kind of interested. My only concern is having to redo an entire chapter if I make some poor decisions/bad luck issues. So my question is: Roughly how long is a chapter? I don't mind redoing some things in games, but if I'm redoing hours of content, then that will irritate me. Thanks SteamGAF!

I remember that game. I liked Shadowgate much better -- it didn't have the stupid pencil+pad "answer"...

Shadowgate has me excited again. I used to play the hell out of the old Macintosh and NES versions. I'm hoping they add new areas though along with everything they are remaking, the game can be pretty short for those who know what to do haha.

The Steam forums for the game are up-in-arms about how awful Sacred 3 is. The most apt comparison I saw was that it should've been called Sacred Citadel 2, since it is a brawler instead of an ARPG.

Sacred 2 was... well, weird, but it seemed really interesting and highly unique, so it'a shame to see the franchise butchered like this.

The Steam forum is overreacting. I understand the disappointment, I wanted a new Sacred that was like the old ones too but it was known that the game wouldn't be like the previous games especially to anyone that looked at the latest videos/streams from the Deep Silver dudes themselves.
The game isn't awful. For what it is it's fun. It's just... different.
