Im playing a campaign game now and I have no idea what I'm doing.. well I do but I have no idea who/what "Norma" is and what my objective is lol

norma is what you have to get to advance one big star (to the next level), it can be stars collected or battles won, not both, when you get norma and stay on home square, you advance to next level, there are five levels, objective is to win a game, to get your norma faster than other players do. The campaign is much more difficult to play than against players, because I'm pretty sure AI cheats all the time (><)

The market restriction only kicks in if you add funds to your wallet with a payment method you hadn't previously used on the store.

Phew! What would we do without you Jase (well probably panic or do nothing but you know what I mean). The flimsy description in the Market FAQ doesn't really give much clarity on the matter.

Shovel Knight NG+ was pretty easy until you drop into the
battle royal
Will have to try again later.

I didn't have any trouble with NG+, but my speedrun which used the world record route was brutal. I must have spent an hour an a half just beating that part once. 6 health using the magic amplifying armor that halves your life, which means your actual health is less than the starting health. The final level was a joke in comparison.

Damn, release Jet Gunner already! I got my key and it looks like the game 8-bit Commando should've been but certainly was not.

Yeah, I figure I'll need a controller eventually to spare my poor wrist. I totally forgot how bad some checkpoints were, you're right. It just was frustrating to me when the game killed you off for no fault of your own, like the mine cart sections of Clarendon.
Yeah, the mine carting was a pretty terrible mistake by the devs too. I forgot about that part. I even got the achievement for it!

Yeah, I played it entirely on keyboard. I don't have a usb controller around here, so I'll prob have to get one, or get an adapter for the controllers I do have on hand...

Glad to know that the controls weren't shit across the board.

I played with a controller and the mine cart section was pretty outrageous for getting 100% achievements, no doubt. The rest of the game wasn't bad, that I remember. I just recall falling through solid geometry a number of times in Clarendon before I was finally able to finish it with no deaths.

People, get Killer is Dead. It's a solid and stylish action game.

Already did (I got the PS3 LE for $10 at Gamestop last week), I just haven't gotten around to playing it yet.

Edit: just saw that you were talking about the Steam version cause it's on sale.......also saw the Dementium II HD was on sale for $2, might pick that up

Yeah, the mine cart and lolcat levels really made the mediocre controls stick out but generally the rest of the game was forgiving enough that it didn't matter. I really enjoyed the game for what it was, but I'd never try to do the no death achievement and I only tried a few times to get the ampersand in the lolcat level before stopping. I did all the other achievements though in order to get a pretty large amount of Playfire rewards, so I'm sure that slanted my opinion some as well. Overall I think it's a much better game than Limbo though.

Ia Lili good? Some reviews say it's "graphics" only, with a boring gameplay. Also, is Killer is Dead region-locked? If no, how many keys for it?

I'm only in it for the graphics

god damn these skeletons in divinity, why do i have to fight like 8 of them, i won but still

Ugh well, Planet Explorers is definitely too alpha for me. The game has great appeal with the rather unique style and creatures roaming the planets but the mechanics are just too rough right now.

sadface, I was looking forward to it but oh well Early Access.

My runs always ended at the mine cart section, lol. I finally got it just a few minutes ago, even with the crosshairs hunting me down ('cos if you jump with the bullethole offscreen, it stops following you).

I enjoyed Type:Rider, but that Comic Sans shit can go straight to hell.
Seriously, fuck that cat.

Yeah, the rest of the game was perfectly fine. The only stupid things were the ampersand in Gothic, the Comic Sans level, and the no deaths Clarendon run. Seriously, fuck those mine carts.

Oh yeah, it's so much better than Limbo. I hated Limbo, but I really liked type:rider out of the controls bit. Really a good game outside of that.

The IRS watches everyone, regardless of where they are around the world! :p

One form that won't be reviewed by anyone ever later and I'm back.

Edit: I'd be fine with being spied on by the IRS if I could make purchases in USD :lol. 33% off for everything!

That AAAaaAAAAaaaA game was on my wishlist... is it good? the one in the $1 tier that is.. is the semi-sequel and dlc worth the upgrade to BTA or is the original one enough?

Maybe this flash bundle means we'll see Monster Loves You at 75% off soon.

Don't really understand why they are now doing these one day bundles that seem much better suited for Weeklies though, do they really have that much of a surplus of bundles to run?

IRS isn't necessarily evil, though. A few years ago I'd messed up calculations on my 401K credit on my tax returns. the IRS sent me a letter telling me about my mistake, and that they corrected my error for me (which was in my favor, I got an extra $30 or so back).

Generally speaking, in the US if you're a private citizen, the IRS isn't going to care about your steam card sales...there just isn't enough money there for them to bother. Unless, of course, you're somehow making $5-10K on the Steam market place. Then they might care.

(Yeah, I hit the 200 item limit about halfway through the Summer Steam sale...I went ahead and gave my info).

There are 60% coupons floating around for Drunken Robot Pornography which gets you the 3-pack for 3 TF2 keys from russian traders just fyi

Stilll have a coupon left (for free) and one copy of the game (1TF2 key) for anyone interested.

For you.
Well, adventure games only sell on tablets, it seems. :\
Still the best court related game. Phoenix Wright is not fit to polish Law & Order: Legacies shoes.

I know... but how hard would it be to just replace it with a mouse click? This mechanic works awfully on PC. Sound design is also awful. Although I'm having fun so far. Just some issues.

A counter-argument: I am about to enter the US on a visa which limits me from legally earning self-employment income. It is possible that I could literally be kicked out of the country by selling Steam cards because Valve records the sales for tax purposes. As a result, I will no longer be able to sell cards.

As I understand it, the game went live when it should have, but one of the devs mistakenly clicked the "Leave Early Access" button, so the game launched as a "proper" release rather than an alpha/beta. As for what you're referring to, the game just had its price increased across the board by 67% (46% in the UK).

If you're not in the US and as such aren't legally obligated to provide tax info, why would you fill out the required form with your actual information? I just entered myself as Steve Sanders from 90210.

but its "out" again (no early access tag) and like I said, as far as I know its still in alpha?

the BTA is dropping.. is this usual? lol might wait to see how low it can go

Depends a lot on demand for the BTA games, most bundles drop for the first few minutes and then slowly go back up, but I've seen some bundles slowly drop throughout the entire time. The rate of change will slow to a crawl once a few thousand bundles have sold though, and once it starts going back up it won't ever go down again. I'd probably go ahead and bite if the BTA gets down to around $3, but I honestly doubt it will get much below $4.

$4.33 now and every time I refresh it, it goes down..

fake edit: it just went up to $4.37

Usually you can earn up to a certain amount before having to report income to the IRS for taxation purposes. For instance, on this page it states up to $400 from self-employment income:
http://www.irs.gov/Businesses/Small...oyment-Tax-Social-Security-and-Medicare-Taxes

The non-resident alien page states the same, allowing income up to the exemption amount:
http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/International-Taxpayers/Taxation-of-Nonresident-Aliens

You won't hit that amount with Steam cards. The IRS isn't going to care about it.

If you're really concerned, contact them and verify.
