Free Rocket League on PS4 and now Steam. That's great, all games should free!

So how long are chapters 4 and 5 in Peace Walker? I think I am at the end of chapter 3. Should I be able to finish this weekend? Although I think I'll need to collect some tanks and helicopters because I was dumb and got mine blown up.

Played through The Swapper all day yesterday and was quite impressed. Surprised it is not really talked about much.

I am new to PC gaming as I only recently just bought a PC and am going through a lot of the games I bought on Humble Bundle over the years for the day I would eventually get to play them with a gaming PC.

Have about 30 games. Not a lot but saving money for winter and next summer sales.

If anyone has any extra Rocket League or Portal 2 codes I will give them a good home.

I told my friend about The Swapper and he then went and bought it but from a site for $2. On Steam it sells for $16-$18 Canadian. G2A was the site. Are these sites legit and how are they selling for so low? Stolen? Guessing not legit as the URL is banned on GAF. Haha.

G2A is not legit.

The swapper was in a Humble Bundle before, so I guess they just bought a lot of bundles and then sell it on their site...

Assets do not look like PS3. They models look worse. It could be a bug and the game is probably actually downscale-able all the way to PS Vita settings. The comparison video is pretty jarring.

I completed the game on PC without too many issues. It's important to work out what compatibility mode works best on your PC (as it seems to vary) and to use the Large Address Aware patch (increasing the usable RAM for the game) to lessen the memory-leak-related crashes.

Here's an old post of mine about the LAA patcher.

There's a lot of helpful information in that thread. It can take a while to tweak the game into a "runnable" state, but once you get it running you don't have to re-tweak anything.

The game's totally worth it -- I really, really liked it (crappy port and all).

This is some great info. I'll have to give it another whirl some time.

I played Last Light and few hours of 2033 in Russian, doesn't really help much with immersion. Every line sounds like VAs reading from the script, maybe it's the shitty VAs, but maybe that's just how the language sounds.

English VA is also terrible cause it's probably the same guys reading a script in bad Engrishu after 3 hangovers.

Its a F2P game. It wouldn't ever be anything but the Win 10 Store. Hardly matters or means anything. We have to wait for GoW or Killer Instinct to actually know if they are going to put their games on Steam.

KI has a F2P system in place with cross-platform play. I'm going to go ahead and wager that cross-platform play will be done through the xbox app on win10, making it extremely doubtful a steam version of KI will be released.

I don't know if Gears of War Ultimate is going to feature cross-play too, but same theory, minus the F2P core.

Finished the first chapter of Marvellous Miss Take earlier. I'm in the Turfster camp of the controls not being overly terrible. I use kb+mouse, rather than kb for movement, or a controller. What I find awkward sometimes is maybe the POV, but I understand the necessity of an overhead view to spot the paintings/artifacts Sophia is "retrieving," and map out a route for a flawless, undetected run.

It is a bit janky when it comes to the guards' movement near walls, so they'll sort of stutter between it in either direction before moving along. Their movements are marketed as unpredictable, but if you spare that one extra second you can sometimes spot which way they're headed.

Same here. PS Vita version sound pretty meh, but One Piece and a warriors game are tempting (I bought both Dynasty Warriors games and will buy Nobunaga, I am part of the problem)
