Let's just say I loved Kingdoms of Amalur, enough to clear all sidequests in first two major areas and most of them in the latter two plus both major DLC xpacs.

I was happy I didn't hit the level cap 5/8 through the game like I did in Amalur. Better story too, IMO.

RPS thoughts on the updated version of King of Dragon Pass.

King of Dragon Pass might look simplistic and even a little cheesy, but it is enormous, smart and fiendish. Choose your own adventure writ at the grandest scale, and a chance to tell your own history, not a mere legend. While the ‘new’ version is only a baby step towards technological contemporariness and cuts far too many corners on PC, it is nonetheless a more accessible improvement over its 90s ancestor, and most of all it’s a very good excuse to embark upon one of the most rewarding, compelling and tragedy-strewn adventures you’ll ever have.

Wow. It's $36 here, but with the current exchange rate that works out to ~$26.

It's published by Warn-A-Brother, though. After the Arkham Knight fiasco, I think I'm going to have to wait, unfortunately. :(

I think Mr Konami will live despite there being a thread taking the piss out of them and how they have treated one of their most beloved franchises. Also I don't think any corporate entity in the gaming industry needs someone to stick up for them, they're all liable for criticism, praise or mickey taking based on their actions.

Super-late answer, but karma's kinda broken in New Vegas. Stealing is like -1 karma, killing a fiend is like +100 karma, so even if you steal everything that isn't nailed down (and bring a crowbar for everything that is), you'll probably still have positive karma.

Not that it matters outside of which level 50 perks are available and that one companion might leave you if your karma gets and stays super low (but she warns you ahead of time anyway). Reputation is the one to worry about.

Picked up Hitman 2 and Blood Money from the Humble Store weekend sale. Should be interesting to revisit the former, but I've never played Blood Money before.
