Flux is great, but it does have a small performance cost when it comes to playing games. I know Steam GAF doesn't actually play games of course, but it's worth reminding those who do that they should disable it when they want maximum powa.

Doesn't play well with dark themed forums. I used to use it but I was turning it off every time I switched tabs, or launched a game. I haven't noticed any performance loss with it and I;m on an old laptop that I have to squeeze every bit out of it.

Just use fraps or something similar, it's not going to tank you 10 fps or whatever but you will squeeze a few extra frames in performance intensive situations.
