I'm going to drop a Batman: Arkham City code here in a bit. All I ask is for a cool Batman drawing in Paint :)

Has anyone ever saw cod 4 under $10 in the past?
I think it was $5 once, a long time ago...

Besides that, the only time I have seen any game from the series go that low was MW2 on amazon.

I know it's not too much, but I tried to be good this sale and not spend that much (and I ended up getting more games for my Xbox then I thought I would)

This is a long shot, but would anyone be willing to trade/gift me the Steam version of The Witcher 2 for a Steam key of Super Meat Boy, Braid, and Lone Survivor?

And if you're one of the rare few that don't happen to own it yet, I can also throw in DOTA 2!

Best 30$ I've ever spent, already finished Spec Ops and Chivalry has me hooked.

Cross posting from the AMEX and Halo 4 thread. Playing a Spartan Op mission in Halo 4 can net you a free $50 in your STEAM wallet:

Just had this genius idea:

Amex emailed me confirmation on the Best Buy Offer for completing a Spartan Ops Mission
Congratulations! You've unlocked an offer in Halo 4: Spend $100, Get $50 Back!
at Best Buy.

Reading the terms and conditions shows that the offer works on at Bestbuy.com

Valid at Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile U.S store locations (excluding U.S. territories and possessions) or online at Bestbuy.com.

Bestbuy.com carries STEAM $50 gift cards.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Valve+-...52&skuId=6577073&st=steam gift card&cp=1&lp=8

I bought 2 of them hitting the $100 requirement. So in conclusion if you are a PC gamer, getting an easy achievement in Halo 4 nets you a free $50 on STEAM which will equal a dozen games come the holiday sale

No need to guess, pretty sure it was already explained that the music license ran out.

Incidentally, I think the licensing issue is also why Hitman: Contracts is not on Steam.

So the accounts with the old version will become valuable? Fuck, why didn't I grab it before?

Hope they replaced the song for another one, instead of simply removing it.

I should have picked up Vice City during a previous sale.

I do own the PS2 and Xbox versions but with the current state backwards compatibility, I want the PC version.

I held back this time around. This sale was just a flesh wound:

Hotline Miami
XCOM: Enemy Unknown
Torchlight 2
(before the sale ends)

I was super-keen for Dark Souls and Dishonoured but missed out on both unfortunately. I'll hold out for the next sale and hope that Amazon repeats the $16 offer. Otherwise, I'm completely satisfied with my haul. Looking forward to spending some quality time with these and my backlog going into Christmas.

Pretty happy with my haul from this sale.

The Walking Dead
hotline Miami
Mark of the Ninja
Skyrim Dawnguard
Spec Ops the Line
Orcs Must Die 2 complete
Chivalry
Castle Crashers

Already played through and beat one (Hotline = amazing) gonna try out Chivalry tonight too.

It's often mentioned in the same sentence as Bad Rats and Revelations 2012. Does that answer your question?

Sadly, no. I've not played either of those, and Garshasp has a 49 metacritic whilst Bad Rats is floating around in the 90s.

(yeah yeah, I know, metacritic lol)

As far as Bad Rats goes, I think one of those reviews is completely nonsensical, one is a shill review, and one is probably a legitimate one.

Whhhaaaaatttt? You be trippin :p

Love that game.
It just feels all sorts of wrong as a beat 'em up, namely the hit detection and the sense for when your opponent is dead. Sometimes it feels like dudes just soak up damage, sometimes they don't, but either way it's a matter of stopping your juggle just to see if they'll fade out or if they'll get back up so you can keep doing it. There's no weight to it I guess, it just wasn't very fun. The humour did nothing for me as well. :\

I dunno what I'd recommend in its place on Steam, but on the console space Double Dragon Neon is 10 times the game Castle Crashers is.

Hotline Miami
Mark of the Ninja
Civ V: Gods & Kings + Korea/Wonders scenario pack
Batman: Arkham City GOTY
Critter Crunch
Thirty Flights of Loving

Along with Dark Souls from Amazon and Borderlands 2 through a friendly Gaffer. It's been a good haul.

Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.
What's the deal with Garshasp? Are people just buying this ironically or is it actually good?

Garshasp is a lot like Revelations 2012 in that, much like how Revelations shines the light of truth onto how bad a series Serious Sam actually is, Garshasp focuses its searing and righteous indignation on the God of War series.

Your sacred cows have been smelted into bricks, my friends. And with those gilded bricks I shall build my acropolis.

Kind folk of SteamGAF, how is Castle Crashers as a single-player thing? Consider me long-intrigued by it, but I'm not sure I have a ready availability of buddies to play with - is there solo fun to be had?

Cheers!

I like the cut of your jib.

I have bought Awesomenauts for myself and Deus Ex HR for giving away so far. And that's everything because I'm already out of money.
