Steam Autumn Sales 2013 Hidden Deals

Dusk Golem

A 21st Century Rockefeller
Hey everyone, this is Dusk Golem aka AestheticGamer. I have posted on NeoGAF since 2011, and have decided to resign. I have enjoyed posting about horror games here for years, but I no longer wish to support the site and will be leaving for good. I will still be around the internet, I go by AestheticGamer on YouTube, I make games on Steam as Yai Gameworks, and I plan to go by Dusk Golem on other forums. I'll be joining an off-set of the GAF community leaving to try other ventures like ResetEra (Official Twitter for that here: https://twitter.com/reseteraforum ). I hope some of you who read this may consider it, and I plan to try to expose more people to horror games in the years to come. Just not here.

I hope you all are having a good day, and know I always loved the community, and in the end it's the community I'm going to stick with, not the site itself. If you want to follow me, my official Twitter is here: https://twitter.com/AestheticGamer1

God dam at those Adam's Venture reviews. I was excited for a sec there.

Could The Last Remnant be considered a hidden deal, or it's not low enough?

What about Wasteland? Since that game just came out on Steam, it seems very unlikely it will get any cheaper.

Dude, I came to this thread to post about The Last Remnant. I lost my 360 copy years ago. My laptop can run the game at full settings and it looks beautiful.

Everyone buy this, please! One of the hidden gems of this generation.

The Last Remnant is actually really good. A quick run through some minor tweaks can make it a much better game though: http://lastremnant.wikia.com/wiki/PC_Tweaking

I just wish there was a way to increase the FOV without botching up the cutscenes and menus. Default FOV gives me a headache.

Critical Mass looks interesting, might buy for that price.

I got Bad Rats for free during that one winter sale where Steam gave away random games with achievements earned.

I'm still not sure what sort of message that was supposed to send to me.

I will give you guys a tip.

Cherry Tree High Comedy Club is basically free because the cards average out at about 30cents each and you get 5 of them.

I really enjoyed The Journey Down. Good voice acting, interesting story, unique setting and pretty classic point+click adventure gaming style. You can tell they put a lot of work into it.

Oh, and the score is really well done too.

That's why I bought it! It's also an okay Persona without combat dating sim.

Been hearing all this talk about Bad Rats and was like WTF is up with this game ?

Quickly discovered it looks like a lost Nintendo 64 game.

Not sure if that's a good thing or not.

Its a religious game, It has a agenda, depending on where you sit on religion will have some effect on if you like it. IMO I like the first game at start and hated it at the end.

I've put about 52 hours into Super Hexagon, not bad for the money.

My old high scores probably don't seem all that great now though, probably not in the top 100 any more.
