my sack is on the market
Seem to be back now, but they were definitely taken down for a moment. I saw there weren't any there, and then went to my own inventory to check and they were tagged as not marketable

I am giving away a Steam key. To enter this giveaway, send a PM to ModBot with any subject line. In the body, copy and paste the entire line from the message below containing the game you want to enter for. Confused? Watch this GIF tutorial or ask for help.
ModBot Basics:
- I really appreciate thank you messages, but please send them to me (bobnowhere, not ModBot!) via PM instead of in thread.
- Do not trade keys you win off-site to enrich yourself. Don't try to claim games you have no interest in collecting or playing. Don't claim games to give them to friends off-site.
- If the key is already taken you will not receive a reply. Replies may take a minute or two.

They made the sack unmarketable? Wow.
Classic Valve.
Those knuckleheads.

That's nothing, there was someone with 1,000,000,000 sacks.
(and yes, that is the correct number of zeroes)
They must have somehow got such with exploit and so the market got destroyed
Can you even access the bidding stuff any more?
Not even an exploit. 100% Valve's fault.
There was a bug on their side that would double the number of gems.
Do this for a while and it becomes pretty exponential.
They cleared most of them, but people who turned the gems into bag kept them it seems.
Valve couldn't clean it all before it destroyed everything.
its stopped wont come I am sure...too many gems out there

Yeah, I mean the few whales with tons of gems would certainly win most of the bids.

Should I turn my items and backgrounds into gems?
Or is that a bad idea at the moment?

Sorry, but there have been some issues with Gems and the Steam Holiday Auction has been temporarily closed. The elves are working franctically to get the issues sorted out, and the auction will start again as soon as they're done.
Can't make bids, gems, or craft booster packs anymore. I wonder what's gonna happen next.

I'd just spent a few hours trawling through the list and tagging shit too.Sorry, but there have been some issues with Gems and the Steam Holiday Auction has been temporarily closed. So how many gems did everyone buy before the great crash of 2014?
