While this will not happen, if my bid was to the top bid at the 63rd auction for the game all it would take is for one person to notice and place a bid of 81+. Very small bids like these won't succeed. You'd be much better consolidating your gems on one or two games of interest rather than thinly spreading them out as while just now you may make the #100 that will certainly change. We still have a few days to go before the start and many will be waiting till then to place their bids.

I had those gems left over from when Valve refunded purchased gems otherwise I wouldn't have bothered as I suspect even the least desirable games will go for 1K+ even as the auctions roll to the later stages. With power traders, scripts and those with browser crashing inventories participating, having a few hundred/thousand gems won't go far here.

The problem is that all those increased bids are permanent, so you're basically either waiting for all of them to get something, or need to up your own bid constantly.

That's really why I think it's better to wait. That way you can get a better idea of what bids you'll have to bid against rather than speculating days before the first round ends.

Putting 1 gem down is pretty much the best course of action at the moment if you don't think you'll be able to remember the games you want.

The first auction round ends on Dec 15 @ 10:45am with a new round ending every 45 minutes until the last auction round ends on Dec 18 @ 1:00pm. At the end of each auction round, the top bidder for each title wins.

It's not very specific, though you can estimate the times when each round ends.

So round two begins at 10:45am on Dec. 15th and lasts until 11:30am, etc.

You thought Night of the Rabbit was meta? The story did touch upon "this is a story," especially at the end, but for the most part it felt about as fairytale as The Whispered World. I wouldn't call it too out there.

But this game does look great and I'll have to get around to acquiring it one of these days.

Tell me about it. Between NPD and that video Eurogamer made about The Order 1886, the place is going crazy. I wish the gaming community wasn't like this. It can be downright embarrassing.
Why do people get so agressive/defensive over this suff? We're supposed to be having fun. And gamers suffer enough attacks from the outside, why does everything need to be a motive for war? I can't believe how fractured and volatile the gaming community is as a whole. Console wars. Jrpgs vs Wrpgs. PC vs console. Hell, even discussions betwen fans of any given franchise constantly turn into a bloodbath because entry X is better than entry Y or character A is better than character B. What's wrong with us?

basically this character tells you she doesn't want to keep her three months fetus since bringing a baby to zombie world would suck and asks you to get her the equipment to get her abortion done. you can refuse and you can tell on her with her husband i think. you can tell her not to do it and maybe if you have high enough negotiation skill convince her but i didn't try that choice

it's not a quest in the traditional sense in the way that quests in dead state are basically "agree to go grab X or don't" but it was pretty shocking, at least for me, specially because it's very explicit

There have been some hilarious and yet horrifying displays of double standards going on the last year. Give the press shit for not being on the customers side then give them shit when they try to give consumer advice. I know they're not perfect but that must seem like damned if you do, damned if you don't.
