LOL Capcpom.
Awww I want one!
GFWL.
Fucking shit.
Wasn't it like 220k before? I wonder how that guy feels right now.
Dozens? If only. It was almost $1,000!
heres that christmas profile http://steamcommunity.com/id/holzii
definitely worth the dozens of dollars it cost
They are talking about the tranfer process in the update though. What I'm not sure about, are there GFWL-only copies of Dark Souls? Or did every version activate on Steam anyway? That might decide what happens to the keys.
As soon as the game launches it does the loading and brings me up to that screen. It doesn't let me do anything tho.
Are there any good $.04 or $.05 backgrounds or emoticons to pick up?
This will be my first winter sale as a PC owner. How do you guys normally handle it? Do you set a budget and stick to it? Do you make a list of games you want?
Well, I don't need to be level 81 as I'm 17 friends shy of my limit, but I'll hit <10 soon enough, at which point I'll spend a few bucks and move to 85. The annoying thing is that I'm no longer in the zone where you can move forward a level by maxing out a badge (IIRC, it's 700 XP between levels now).
It didn't last all that long. I went ahead and ordered the router. Even if it doesn't entirely fix my stability issues, the boost in wireless range/performance will be welcome, plus since it has a LAN port that doubles as a WAN port, I won't need to buy a replacement should I find myself on a fibre connection in the not-too-distant future.
Bots have alreaady scoured the market vacuuming up everything cheap. Are there any good $.04 or $.05 backgrounds or emoticons to pick up?
The bids are increasing, at least in the obscure indie games where I am hoping to win something, I have dropped on most of them, maybe the people who can not win in the popular ones will come looking for indie games :/

will there be an actual sale or just these auctions this year?

Is there a way to filter the auctions by your wishlist by chance? Or at least remove games you own?
...and the price of gem sacks is rising. Yes!!!!!!
How do I get away from this on Dark Souls?
will there be an actual sale or just these auctions this year?
I hope those DmC updates will come to pc too, the rebalancing sounds pretty cool
Also. Why the hell are people still bidding so much of CS:GO?!?
Think about it for a moment. Does Valve sell more than 200k games during your standard sales event? At consistent 30% share rather than variable from 5-30%will there be an actual sale or just these auctions this year?
I think we'll definitely see this in Enhanced Steam, especially considering that the CSS is labeled as "skin_1". I strongly suspect that Valve will continue to introduce new "profile skins", likely as a reward for gem recycling and they'll probably be marketable.
I'll probably just add a feature to the "edit profile" page similar to the custom backgrounds, where you'll be able to select a custom theme. Once selected, everyone that visits your profile page will see the skin.

Have you tried choosing #10 (book)?
Elaborate please, what's being improved?
Uprezzed Graphics Including textures, characters, and cinematics.
New Skins 2 new character skins. Devil May Cry 1 Dante and Classic Vergil.
Turbo Mode Turbo Mode returns to the Devil May Cry series, with the game running 20% faster in this mode.
Hardcore Mode Hardcore mode retains the experience of DmC, but with a throwback to the classic Devil May Cry games in terms of balance. In this mode, which can be toggled on all difficulty levels, the style system has been rebalanced to make ranking up much harder and ranks deteriorate much quicker. In addition, Devil Trigger doesnt launch enemies into the air, parrying takes more skill, and all enemies hand out more damage.
Manual Target Lock Weve seen more requests for this than any other feature! The manual target lock works as closely to the classic Devil May Cry lock on as possible and has fully configurable controls.
Vergil Bloody Palace Only second to Manual Target Lock in terms of the number of fan requests! This is a new Bloody Palace mode featuring 60 levels and Vergil as the playable character.
Must Style Mode This is a hardcore modifier on an epic scale that can be played over any difficulty level. Players must be at an S rank or higher to deal any damage to enemies.
Gods Must Die Difficulty Mode This is DmC Definitive Editions hardest difficulty mode. It takes DmCs ridiculously hard Dante Must Die mode and adds a touch more punishment: All enemies spawn with Devil Trigger active and no items or health drops can be used.
Rebalanced and Retuned Weve studied fan feedback and made a whole host of tweaks and balance changes. The style system has been rebalanced, as have bosses. Exploits have been fixed in combat and some of Dantes moves rebalanced, such as the Demon Evade. Gameplay tweaks have been made following hardcore player testing; frames have been removed from Kablooey shots, Parry/Evade windows adjusted, and collectibles, keys and doors redistributed.
Integration of Popular Community Mods DmC Definitive Edition includes community mods such as an optional timer disable for Bloody Palace Mode, a triple dash for Angel Evade, and the ability to hit red and blue enemies with any weapon.
New Cutscene an added cinematic scene that never made it into the original.
Also thanks to JaseC for all the games you don't want to get thanked for.
YNAB usually only goes on sale near the end of the sale, to rub it in.
First, you buy You Need a Budget. Then everything will fall into place.
Elaborate please, what's being improved?
I'm pretty sure there isn't even going to be a Steam after this. It'll just be a paypal-like webpage where you can move fantasy currencies around for the sheer sexual thrill.
Sounds pretty good actually. Definitive edition seems pretty apt in this case, though I would have gone with "The Game We Should Have Made in the First Place Edition". These changes better come to the PC version.
