It looks like they have made several concurrent publishing deals with Nickelodeon.

Most notably, they have a publishing contract with Nickelodeon for three TMNT games, of which they have only published two. Based on the evidence, I'd imagine the Nickelodeon contract is safe for this fiscal year. Keep in mind that nothing is safe in this regard as there is historical precedent for Activision negotiating to drop a licence that is less than lucrative.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have a new home in video game publishing. Previously in the hands of Ubisoft, the Turtles now rest with Activision thanks to a new multi-year deal inked with the TMNT owner Nickelodeon. The deal will see Activision publish three games based on the new animated series (pictured), with the first game slated for this summer.

I'm actually more worried about the Transformers licence. Activision originally signed the rights way back in 2006 and has since shifted their policies considerably towards licensed game titles. Couple that with the closing of High Moon Studios and I would put the threat level to Red.

So if the licence expires then the games could be pulled from the Steam store? I've been waiting for cheaper prices on the last two games, but maybe I should plan on picking them up sooner than later just in case...

I was playing AssCreedLib, someone started watching via Steam Broadcasting and suddenly Vsync got turned off. Anyone else had that happen? Maybe it was the info overlay.

Yes, they will be pulled immediately from Steam. Sometimes other stores are a bit slower to updated their store front.

It's weird, I think it looks great in the pictures but I don't like it in the video showing it off. The colour is a lot darker in that video and just doesn't sit well with me for whatever reason

Yeah that was an amusing few hours, basically porn, anime, movies, and hacking all banned haha

So south park... What I'm getting out of this thread is play on a high difficulty, invest in moves that cause bleed and also play in short burst. I'm good with that. I mainly want to play it for that south park writing. Can't wait till I get to it, I'll most likely start my playthrough next week

I still think watching all the cutscenes would be the same as playing the game.

The actual game is... hm... not really that good I think. The battlesystem is far too easy, the quests are really standard and I just had fun because it was South Park.

Huh, never knew they made a copy of Elite for the NES, saw a copy of it in one of the shops in Glasgow. Was £20 though for a boxed copy.

They had a ridiculous price on an old copy of Pokemon Emerald, which seemed a bit weird to me.

The same could be said for any gameplay which someone finds boring, for the most part.

South Park and it's battle system are meant to be RPG-lite so that it's accessible to all fans of the show. It's basically a form of Costume Quest set in South Park.

For now, it is only available in the 20th anniversary bundle, of which only a little over 12,000 are being produced.
