lashman is great, don't run him off!
You're.next.
It's pretty easy and there's very little risk. Some things to keep in mind:
- the posting throttle
- the thread ID changing on a monthly basis
- maybe separately implement a throttle so that your summary posts are no more than once a day or w/e
Beyond that, spoofing is easier if you use a browsing session emulator than doing direct http post requests because vBulletin has this security token to prevent session spoofing.
If you ping me when I'm in a place where I have Internet access on something other than my phone I'd be happy to do a bare minimum Python script for GAF auto posting. I can just adapt some of ModBot's code.
Most of ModBot obviously has some level of user oversight but we have a few pieces of code like automatic account suicide detectors which can operate autonomously. Most of the quirks I ran into on that front are on the mod/Admin side not the regular-ass user side.
lashman i appreciate all of your posts
im okay with that. I dont take insults and bullying seriously in real life, let alone on the internet from anonymous people.
so go for it, I could use a good laugh or two
With an avatar like that I'm sure you're used to taking a beating, or at least a verbal lashing.
Am I doing this right?

I would be interested in this if I had a good controller to actually play it.Anyone interested in SFV beta? I got two more gifts. Quote or PM me, first come first serve (if I remember correctly, there'll be another beta test this weekend).

Let's just say 2015 was the year of the nonogram for me.
I would be interested in this if I had a good controller to actually play it.
Maybe next time.
*refunds*
no, but making a straight port or even using better emulators would've been much, much better.Guys, what did you expect? That they coded their own emu just for one or two games? Of course that it wasn't going to happen...
Stick wise: huge selection (HORI are the best, probably; the silent hayabusa wakes my dreams along with the Taito HORI).
Pad wise: I do recommend PS4 gamepad. PS3 is fine if you don't mind you left thumb blooding. X360 I still can't navigate the menus. X1 not tried yet. Valve controller I'm waiting for a monster pro demonstrating it.
I have this madcatz fightpad from sf4 days, but I absolutely loathe the dpad on that. It just feels like garbage.
So if Bubsy becomes a commercial success, will steam be flooded with emulated versions of old console games?
@bayo
i'd settle this over steam chat or whatever but it's important to make it clear here that you're making shit up and being really shitty by breaking my trust about stuff we talked in private.

Anyone that bought it, can you extract the ROM and use in other emulators ?

Edit: It also installed the game to a directory called "Busby Two-Fur". lol
I can't imagine it takes longer than an afternoon to package a ROM and emulator together and put it on Steam for $5-$10.
it's bugs me that capcom put additional $2-$3 to saudi arabia
why the fuck they do that ?
Where do they even sell that Fighting Commander one at besides just Hori's site? I have the FC4 but its the normal one, although still really good. Just that locking the D-pad sometimes comes loose after hours of use. I got it to lock, really good now though.I'm likely getting this new Fight Commander sooner or later.
It looks great and if it feels as good as it looks, it's a no-brainer for a padfighter like me.

Oh wow it can just go into Xinput? Damn I need this.http://www.play-asia.com/fighting-commander-for-playstation-4-playstation-3/13/709efx
$30 bucks not bad, there's a switch at the bottom that sets the controller into xinput mode which is effing genius
Someone recommended AmiAmi in a recent madcatz thread.
As much as i DO love gamepads, sticks are better for digital inputs - it's a fact: it's possible to achieve pratically the same level performance with pads but it's tougher, because you have to move your left thumb as quick and as precise as you'll do with your wrist (hint: it's so much easier / quicker with your wrist). Was never much a stick guy, I don't think I've ever actually played a fighting game in an arcade. All my SF2 fights were on SNES so that's what I'm the most comfortable with.
