So did Idle Master just stop working at some point?

The program runs but it doesn't seem to be doing anything.

I find if you change games too quickly you can actually break the link between steam and idlemaster. Steam will stop recognising the game currently up in idlemaster and no cards will drop. You need to restart steam at that point. Or just redownload idlemaster and run a fresh install.

I thought people assumed this was a PS4 first party game now? Honestly, I don't get why they don't actually say it, whether its coming eventually or not, just plain and simple. Either "Yes, we will release it at some time in the future on Steam" or "Nope, all moneyhatted now".

Would you consider the Resident Evil 1 remake a good gateway to the series? I have the first game for PS1 but I never got too far into it the few times I tried it.

Yes. It has all the shit designs of the original but it looks pretty at least.

Sure, REmake is a great start to the series.

I personally finished the REmake before beating the original ps1 version too.

Have fun! It's one of my favorite series. :)

They already said it will be coming to PC some months after PS4 launch.

Anyone here use ASF? I was using Idlemaster but decided to give ASF a try. Seemed fine. Fine until I went back into Steam to sell a card. Then I got a message that I couldn't sell for 7 days because I was using a new device. I did a restart of Steam...same thing. Then I did a restart of my PC and thankfully it's working again.

Weird glitch or something that I didn't set up right?

I've been using it for the past two days - no issues

*me from a week ago* Oh hey, this Idlemaster thing looks really helpful, thanks guys! I wonder-

*a week of the program being open the entire time later*

482 new cards.

*steeples fingers in front of face*

...hmmmmmmmmm...

The Void is back on Steam. If you haven't played it, it actually might be the single strangest game on Steam. Ice-Pick Lodge, devs of Knock-Knock and Pathologic, but it's weirder than both. If you have played it, you can now reply again in the original Russian, and the game also has cards now.

(and now I am one removed game further from getting into the RemGC group)

I just started going through mine yesterday. Seemed like a really good idea because I wanted to sell going into the sale. Until I had to sit there and set a price for each one. Now not sure it's worth it for the couple of bucks.

So I've been playing Homefront: The Revolution and so far it's not too bad? It's basically like the recent Far Cry titles in terms of structure. There's the main story, side missions and outposts you can capture. You can also modify weapons like in Crysis, which of course makes sense considering the game is using CryEngine and Dambuster used to be Crytek UK. The writing is pretty lackluster so far and I'm not really expecting it to improve.

I got it and the season pass for ~$17 CAD during the Autumn Sale, which wasn't too bad. I'm still really early in the game, so time will tell if the Ubi-style structure starts to wear on me.

Use Steam Economy Enhancer as mentioned in an earlier post on this page to greatly simplify the selling process. Click on the "Sell All Cards" button in the inventory page and you're good to go.

Sony frequently has their marketing deals set up so the developers are unable to discuss the PC version.

Likely the best entry point to the series is RE4. I played RE1 for the first time when it was released on Steam and found it to be amazing, but it is more obtuse and the gameplay is more "archaic" than RE4. Potential turn offs depending on your taste.

Thanks - I saw that, but I misread thinking the comments made it seem like there were some security issues with it.

I used Idlemaster in January of this year and started getting rid of all my cards, but then I started getting warnings about taxes so I stopped. January 1st I will be open for business again however.

It's normal to need to use a walkthrough several times while playing Day of the Tentacle right? They were so far-fetched, I'm not sure how anybody would be able to finish it without using one.

The Void is incredibly weird and bloody obtuse as all hell to play, but I can't help but respect it for being so different, even if I will never be able to manage much more than a couple of hours in it without knowing what to do.

I honestly didn't even know it was removed from Steam.

I've got a DRM free copy of the game laying around, should probably play it.

Astroneer is some of the most fun I've had with a survival/crafting game in a long time, I can't wait to see where they take it because for a pre-alpha game it's already really fun and has a great set of game play systems in place.

What is this about? B1G1 is better than this trash.

Huh, was wondering why it suddenly had cards added. I had no idea it was taken off Steam.

Oh boy, I decided to play Glare as a short game to add to my 52 for the year. Damn game gets brutal at the end. Then I got through a lot of the checkpoints of the final level and the game crashed. And it turns out it doesn't save those checkpoints.

So, are there any mystery cards showing up? Sale is in 15+hours.

Yes, you get them if you craft badges now.

I am selling everything. Take your promotional TF2 items and put them up your chocolate whizzway.

I will keep the Chris emote and the Helena and Sherry background of course.

EDIT - Vanille and Fang is only 16 cents. Should be 69 cents.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.

Do you live in the US? If not, you just need to sign a form stating as such. If you are in the US, they will only send you tax forms if your sales on the market exceed $20,000 in gross sales. You could own every game on Steam that has trading cards and still not even come close to that amount in regular drops, I imagine.

I understand not wanting to give Valve your SSN, but there is no tax liability in selling your trading cards.

Yeah, I do live in the US. I don't recall the exact details but I got some warning when I got around 200 transactions I think, so I just decided I could wait, and now I've got more cards over the course of the year as well.

You think that's bad?

the fucking Logitech Software app just flat out forgets my G303 lighting settings

so everytime I use it it's always that shitty 'breathing' effect lighting I can't turn off

The mobile app is pure garbage. I'm trying to confirm selling my cards and it's a nightmare. It took forever too load the confirmation page and when I hit confirm after selecting everything it gives me an error.

I plain stopped selling cards after the hefty requirements. It's not worth my time. I'm sure I have a few dollars worth, too.

I check five at a time. It's a pain but normally I do it while watching TV or whatever.
