Is anyone willing to send me GTA V as a gift? I'd purchase it myself but not willing to fork out $75USD, or $100 in Australian dollar.

Will pay back of course.

pretty sure it's not the same thing

Only pretty sure? Don't complain then, if Valve forces her to censor the game or bans it completely. ;)

Its interesting how much Valve's policies have changed since then. They still probably wouldn't let that game on Steam as is, but in light of HuniePop and others, they might be willing to sell a censored version (that is easily modified to be uncensored).

Ironically, there appears to be another game going by the name "Seduce Me" that just got added to Steam Greenlight the other day (seemingly unrelated to the previous "Seduce Me"). Though this one is an Otome game, and doesn't appear to be a straight up porn game.

From the description, that Otome game sounds terrible. I would rather play the one about dinosaurs.

Considering this is on steam I think LadyKiller is fine.

Not to mention we have seen censored versions hit as well.

What Dinosaur game Jurassic Heart?
That takes all of 5 minutes.its good for what it is.

So. um, considering I don't even have a dollar... Is anyone around here feeling generous!? :D

No?

Alriiiiight. That's what I get for spending money on virtual hats.

I'd be very happy to spend a dollar to give a Gaf member a great game!

But it is Injustice, so you are out of luck there.

I was hoping that we would get the Gold edition content, super happy to have confirmation.
Good guy Capcom.

I think they will just turn the regular version to Gold with the steamworks patch.
This is Capcom after all, lets not forget how messy the SSF4 Arcade to Ultra transition was.
Hopefully they learned something from it.

But I don't even care, I'm just happy that I can finally play the Gold Edition stuff.
I expect it will be a $5 upgrade.

Nah, I mean in that trailer.

LoL, for one, makes my heart beat faster... BEAT WITH RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!
you should watch it again

there's boobies in it

she should make the censor patch replace all the sex with the mindless slaughter of innocents

perfectly acceptable content!!!

Good guy Capcom.

Maybe they'll actually get around to CVX HD now so that I can retire my PS2 copy. Along with the Gold content, it's something that has been oft mentioned on the Capcom boards.

We need all the RE games on steam. REmake should have helped push that. Pain in the ass that currenty only PS3 is able to do that. IF Zero comes out for it.

REmaster sold well so Zero remaster is practically guaranteed for all platforms.
CVX HD is also MT Framework port, so it wouldn't be a big shocker if that popped up on PC (and new consoles?) as well. The rest is a bit weird. 2 and 3 both had a Windows versions back in the day, but I suspect the assets for those are long gone. Upscaling those PSX era backgrounds would be quite a challenge. I doubt we would get a full blown remake of either of them, even though I would love a RE2 Remake.

It would be really really surprising and probably most interesting if RE Outbreak games got ported. Those games with modern online would be pretty neat.

Sigh... The last three games that came out on PC that I want to play (Formula Truck, Stock Car Extreme and Grow Home) are only on steam and on none of the third party sites... That sucks... I want me some deals!!

Grow Home is also sold on many other websites (but no special price anywhere). And even on Uplay, it's a Steam key!

I'm ok with playing just some straight ports of RE2&3. gog is popular and playing a old rerelease at 4:3 isn't a issue of the price is right. Just add some cards and maybe some Xinput and you're set.

If the DC 1&2 ports are any indication it wouldn't be much work for a rerelease with the current windows versions.

Dino 2 must have been one of their better ports, as it runs very well on Win 8.1 with arbitrary resolution support. Though I had to use xpadder to map the dpad to movement on the DS4.

DC1 was by the same team and was working fine for me on Windows 7. Might throw it on my laptop and test it there since it has 8.1

The controller input being old style is the biggest issue I can think of with those ports.

It has been done.
Gwyn is dead.
I am the new lord of Lordran.

140 hours of joy. What a rare and unique game.
While exploring the kiln I accidentally chose the dark ending, haha.

Immediately I powered through NG+ and got the taurus demon down and am now at undead parish where I downed the titanite demon and called it quits for tonight.

What a game people. What a game.

Considering if I should immediately continue with Dark Souls 2?

Oh yeah, today was the thing with humans not being alone right? Cool I guess for them.

My stream today was really weird. Played DreadOut Act 2 on stream, the team that made the game watched my stream and even tweeted me a picture of them all watching my stream, the stream itself was super successful, then people came in my stream claiming to be Lizard Squad and now my Internet is dead, presuming by DDSO'd, getting it repaired tomorrow.

Anyways, will type up my full thoughts later when I have Internet again, but DreadOut Act 2 was enjoyable, it was longer and quite different for act 1. There were some translation things they need to fix, a few bugs, some of the puzzles were a bit convulted, but I really liked it, also the ending was so well foreshadowed and yet I didn't even see it coming, nor did most people in the chat, the reaction everyone had to the ending was pretty priceless, myself included.

It actually had some really cool moments though, and some fantastic atmosphere in places. The part where you talk to Ira, the mansion location as a whole, and the finale I think will be etched in my brain for a while.

Act 2 felt more experimental than Act 1 and not quite as old-school, I think Act 2 had lower lows but higher highs than Act 1, but was enjoyable and certainly not forgettable.

Man I want Brandish on Steam, it's one hell of a unique dungeon crawler/adventure game.
The kind that Durante would appreciate.

Fuck Dark Zone though

Doesn't matter, still has the braindead AI companion bullshit and crappy layout that made me ragequit after like the first levelcorridor.

From what I've gathered, RE5 is much better played co-op, I need to pester my lame brother so we can co-op it on PS3 or something one day, since he's an RE vertern.

I just got done playing it and the scene where you sit down with Ira might be one of the scarier and well done scenes in a horror game I've played. Also holy shit at the boss fight before it.

That is... an interesting twist of events. o_O

Also, just to confirm:

Christine Love ‏@christinelove 12m
I’m sure I’ll be repeating this a LOT this year, but: there will be no censored version of #lkiab. It wouldn’t make sense without the sex.

Christine Love ‏@christinelove 11m
Also, you know, if we took the sex out of Ladykiller, the wordcount would drop by like, an entire third. #lkiab

I don't even really know, last night someone came into my stream and started saying all this weird stuff and knowing me and saying personal detail stuff, and today the Lizard Squad claim stuff, I think it's weird but also a bit silly.

I'm more surprised people care enough to try that on me. I just talk about horror games a lot and do horror game videos mostly.

I was surprised while replaying to search for Easter Eggs how many different directions and hidden scenes were in that scene with Ira. It was a really unique scene which had just the right level of silliness and yet unnerve creepiness to it. I actually think one of the strengths of Act 2 was it's boss fights, I think all the boss fights in DreadOut were surprisingly good.

I also cannot express how good a mechanic the camera you pick up's flash ability is for a horror game, I can't believe no one else I think has done it. To explain to those reading who have not played DreadOut Act 2, you get a flash camera as a secondary weapon choice besides your phone, your phone acts like a flashlight, but the camera can instead flash light for a second that lights up everything around you, but temporaryingly. I wish it was utilized a bit more, but it was legitmately creepy going through dark environments barely seeing a thing, then flashing your light and seeing a flash of everything around you all at once.

Actually a few hours later, I think DreadOut Act 2 had a lot of memorable moments and was worth the wait, and the game's price. Some things in Act 2 need to be touched up a bit more, but I think the stand-out moments really made more than up for it. I can't get some moments out of my head, such as the room where you fight the ghost you can only see in the mirror, but as you hurt the ghost, the mirror image starts to get creepier and creepier... Such a well done moment, and what follows it.

That is actually a very interesting mechanic. I can just imagine your eyes slowly adjusting back to the dark as you process what you've just seen in the split second of light.

Exactly, there's a segment of Act 2 where you don't have your phone and only the old camera, but I found myself defaulting to the camera because I found it a lot creepier to use and useful (the camera can zoom in, which allows you to damage enemies from farther away, but the two disadvantages are the camera is slower to pull out than the phone, and the camera had a smaller viewing lens than the phone, a big part of the screen is onscured by black borders and you only can see through the lens hole in some 4:3 dimension, so you see less while using it and can't see much to the left or right of you. You use the flash in place of the flashlight by pressing F to take a quick half-second flash of your environment, it has a short cool-down, the flash is much brighter than the phone's dim flashlight and longer ranged, but obviously only lasts half a second).

I just beat the final boss of Ys Oath in Felghana on inferno mode, and murder-suicide'd the secret boss (it still counts apparently, woo!)

Now to do the boss rush on nightmare mode. Ugh.

at this point i'd suggest you wait for april and buy the ripoff version

it'll have all the dlc and look better and probably have more interesting enemies.

i'd say just beat dark 1 on ng+

it's always nice to see the same places again but under a new light, you already know all their secrets and their patterns, so it's a very different experience than on the first time. that's why i think it's not good that the game changes too much on ng+, if it did, then the experience would be about the same as in ng, only a bit more difficult

Dusk Golem: how is Pineview Drive and is it worth playing the prequel beforehand? I believe it's called Passing Pineview Forest..
