More time for backlog blah blah, but I'm still mad.
I know, but such a steep discount a few weeks after episode 1 is a first as far as I'm aware.
Also, people in the Revelations 2 review thread saying that the only explanation for this game getting better reviews than The Order is that Capcom bribed them.
What has that damn game done to this forum?!
damn sorry to hear that :/
To be fair, if preorder items were the tipping point, you probably should've stayed away to begin with

It just seems weird to me, considering that is something that's ALWAYS been a primary factor in DOA. It feels like someone giving a negative to a new Gears of War game for being bloody/violent.
What's happening in the Dead Rising 2 app?
If I'm looking at this right, they added a non-g4wl depot, then proceeded to remove it and all other depots and all configs? And then added the achievement schema.
Anyone own it, can you even install it now?
I just used the Steam cleaner tho, unless it doesn't remove those?
You can install it since the subs weren't emptied, but you can't run the game (unless the executable isn't tethered to the client). Off the Record is in the same boat. Good job, Capcom.
It just one more product they will offer, they won't stop making more "traditional" games. And I'm good with that. More variety, more experiments, whether it works or not, gamers are not losing anything.
And from what I understand, their interactive contents are games, not just FMV. The difference is, now, their games won't be spin-off or side stories, they'll be completely part of the stories.
Lol, GTA V PC is a big joke.
And, I bet it will still be unoptimized/buggy on release :/
Last week? It's always been like this for hyped up games, especially exclusives.People on GAF can be ridiculous when it comes to reviews. Last week it was "How dare they give bad reviews to a game I've never played" and now this week it's "How dare they give decent reviews to a game I've never played."
Well some games have saves and profiles there. I don't know if you want to wipe them.
You can just go and check manually.
Folders are (almost always) named as the game and if not, it's usually an acronym of the name.
Any folder with a game name you know you won't play anymore can just be deleted.
Also, if you try demos, I've had issues with demos not uninstalling correctly some times.
More Disney games are coming out today, heh, this one is interesting:

On an unrelated note... why did Falcom stop making PC games? ((
I really want this: Tokyo Xanadu (coming to Vita this summer in Japan).
Oh well, at least it looks like the english version of Xanadu Next (which is on PC) will arrive soon (as Xseed registered a domain for it last month).

Because Japan has practically no PC market and no one ever thought that us gaijins would create such a big demand for those games.

Ah, so it's the salt that drove them crazy.Oh I know, I was just talking about the Order insanity. It's not that people are any more insane about reviews now than they have been in the past, it's just remarkable that so many are worked up over such an unremarkable game, especially when they hadn't played it at the time.
And with Rev 2, I can understand being skeptical of the quality, but I just don't get the outrage that it could possibly review better than The Order of all things.

Soon or later TT will release full motion videos only, calling the day.
Hah, yeah, I remember they saying that they won't release the Steam version of Ys Origin in Japan because "It might not even sell 1/100th of that, or 2k copies" (that was when they were announcing that it sold 200k copies on Steam).
I mean, they aren't even willing to give the Japanese PC market a second chance
Well, more and more Japanese companies seem to be willing to do PC ports just for the western audience. I'd say things are looking pretty good.Hah, yeah, I remember they saying that they won't release the Steam version of Ys Origin in Japan because "It might not even sell 1/100th of that, or 2k copies" (that was when they were announcing that it sold 200k copies on Steam.

Looking how big "common" is should be sufficient.
They haven't made a game since Poker night 2 almost 2 years ago and the last adventure game they made was Puzzle Agent 2 in 2011. I don't seem them ever returning at this point. They struck gold with Quicktime videos with occasional dialog options and this deal seems to only cement that as their future products..
Could be that they marked it private (SteamDB can't see anymore, since they don't own).

I am suddenly reminded that Gearbox made Colonial Marines. If you were at the PAX Prime Gearbox panel two years ago, Homworld keys are now here
Except the part where it's literally just text that says "<< Test Steam Code >>"
Oh, that's what you mean by "game".
For me, The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us and all these productions are games. The gameplay is not about mashing buttons or being skilled, it's about making choices. It's different, but that doesn't make them lesser games.
In this case, yeah, I'm sorry for you, but TT probably won't make any more "classical" games.
As with all the other modern King's Bounty stuff, it's literally more of the same. If you liked those and want more of that, this will do.Is King's Bounty Dark Side good?

It's $4.99 over at humblebundle.
I got one too, not sure what's up.If you were at the PAX Prime Gearbox panel two years ago, Homworld keys are now here

I wonder if they will add any of those to the Megapack :3
Dying Light's 'My Apocalypse' collector's edition is indeed a £250,000 version of the game that comes with a house.
I got one too, not sure what's up.
I didn't get anything, because fucking US only bullshit =p
Not everyone can travel halfway around the world for stuff like that.
Does the house register on Steam?
if it did I'm sure you'd buy it
It's not that simple. Japan hasn't ever really had a big PC market (at least not since console gaming came on the scene), outside of extreme niche titles and porn games. But now, even console games are struggling to sell in Japan, where the audience has moved mainly to handheld and mobile. If even consoles are in trouble, I can't imagine the PC market is particularly stable.
While it's a shame to see Falcom abandon PC development after so many years of being one of the last remaining holdouts, the move to PSP/Vita has done well for them. It would be impossible for them to justify going back to PC if they are trying to appeal to Japanese audiences. I don't know if Western interest alone is enough to justify a port, though I suppose these days a lot of console only, niche JRPGs are getting PC ports, so that might be a possibility.
I think one of these days I may need to pick up a Vita to use as a Falcom machine though.
