Valve needs to get the card glitch working better. Got 200 cards to drop this morning but then it stopped working.

Spend the first 10 years of my rule trying to flip the succession laws to Primogeniture. Bribing the council and vassals, passing around honorary titles to get everyone nice and happy with me.

Finally get the law passed so everything goes to my eldest son on my passing...only to find out afterwards that he's gay (nttawwt). I can't even force a marriage on him as no on in my realm wants him. No grandchildren to inherit it all, it seems.

LOL, smh.

Lol, I wanted to check the Steam reviews of the Ace Combat game from the bundle, but I was greeted with "This item is currently unavailable in your region".
Yay, can't even check the Steam reviews for a game I own.

Doing my best to finish Dragon Quest VII before Sophie hits.
If there's one game that is too long for its own good, it's DQ7

How much better (or worse) is Civilization 6 over 5? I know some people didn't like the new artstyle, but is it better overall?

It's a lot easier

I dunno if I liked it more than 5. I did at first, but I've completely stopped playing it and so has everyone else on my list. It feels more streamlined, and there's less units overall. And the AI is really, really bad (as is Diplomacy). There's some great quality of life changes (roads, workers in general, UI) that make the game less tedious but something about it just didn't stick with me. Game just felt really samey, even in a different game with a completely different civ, everything felt all too familiar and quite frankly, boring.

Maybe I'll get back into it with the first expansion.

man Abzu is short, I mean I knew that, but I dont think I even got 2 hours out of it.In fact just looked at the time and it took me an hour and a half roughly, since I did it in one sitting and started around 8pm. I didnt even particularly rush, I tried to meditate on the stones I found, and click those fish pool things that I sw around, but at the same time, I think its actually to the game's detriment to look around too much, I feel it has a flow and that completely breaks said flow.

Im conflicted about it. I loved everything about the game, but I would never pay 20€ for it, nor would I advise anyone to do it. If it existed in a vacuum, or in a fantasy world where money was infinite, its amazing. But it doesnt, it lives in a world where 20€ is like 5% of many countries minimum wage for example. Reminds me of Gone Home, another game I enjoyed very much but would never buy for 20€, and the kicker is, I dont even think either should be longer... I mean, maybe Abzu could use with like an hour more or something, but I certainly wouldnt want 8 hours of just what it offers. And it "looks" expensive, theres that, just from a visual standpoint, youre getting your money's worth...argh, thank god im not a reviewer lol.

On the other hand, its a perfect humble monthly game. Which is a weird thing to say lol. It also made me want a "full" game with these mechanics and more on top, like a proper action adventure game with this tech, especially when you
actually jump out of the water and can move around
. Amazing experience, thats for sure.

Also, if you dont like it, you have no soul and should go to a church or something and have that checked.

I found it quite short, and I still got bored halfway through - I would have been really upset had I spent the money on it. As it is on a bundle, it's passable at best.

So a bit shorter than Journey, then? I feel like that ended up being like 2, 2.5 hours though I might be misremembering. Been waiting for a good sale price on it, since I want to play it, but not badly enough to want to spend full price on it.

If I'm remembering right there were some crazy dresses in there too.

yeah i found some white dress there that was ridiculously good for starters. in fact, i beat the game while my main pawn (sorcerer) wore that dress. never changed her armor in my 35 hour playthrough
