Let me know what you think of RE6.
Been pondering it and the 3DS port for awhile now. The biggest off-put to 6 for me is i don't know anyone who owns it or wants to coop.
Dude, same for me. I want to play it, I just don't want to play through it alone. I love horror games, but from what I've heard it's just not a great game. Bad games are pretty fun to playthrough if you are playing CoOp. Add me on Steam and we can play it. I have a mumble too.

RE6 PC talk? I'M HERE. It's actually pretty great /if you like the core RE4/5 style combat./
First of all, it's a really solid port like all Capcom in-house ports - great performance, no locked res/framerate, and even solid kb/m controls if you change the default bindings.
Now, RE6's campaign gets a lot of flak, and here's the thing: it mostly deserves it. It just kinda blows all around, is filled with obnoxious QTEs at every corner (be sure to turn on auto-complete QTEs in options), and takes out RE4/5's godlike upgrade system. And worst of all, it just doesn't give you enough scenarios to really take advantage of the game's combat system. On the plus side, it's long, varied, and, uh, cinematic.
The combat is the best part of the game - it's very melee-focused, and there are a TON of unique animations for each character, each weapon, and even different context-sensitive locations. There's a lot of mobility involved, and if you play it "right," it can feel like a slightly more awkward cousin of Vanquish (in that it's stylish and Japanese, at least). When you're in the groove, you're countering zombies, sliding around while shooting, and just generally being a badass action hero.
The thing is, the best place to enjoy the combat is Mercenaries (the score attack mode), so if you don't enjoy score attacks or don't fall in love with the combat, you'll probably write off RE6 as "trash" as a lot of gaffers have. If things do click, though, you'll find that RE6 Mercs has loads of content and is just a fun, polished mode with a lot of nuances if you want to get higher scores.
So, yeah, that's RE6. I can offer a review of RE: Revelations is anybody is interested in buying that on sale.
